Seokjin was humming as he cleaned his apartment. Everything was off their selves, waiting to get cleaned and then put back. He really didn't mind doing this, it took his mind off of things. When he's cleaning or cooking, he could take his mind off of the drama at work or drama with his love for someone he can't have.
He smiled when he saw a framed photo of BTS after they all left prison. Seokjin picked it up and examined it, a smile forming onto his face. In it, they looked tired and out of it, but at the same time, they were happy to see each other again. Sometimes he missed those times, but that was normal. He knows he should focus on the present or else he'll regret his past.
"We may not be a group anymore, but we're all still together. We're a big family," he spoke, gently setting the photo down. He dusted away the dust and then wiped it with a napkin, satisfied by how it looked almost new. "And we're growing," he said as he turned to look at a photo of him holding SJ when he was around a year and few months hold.
Seokjin continued to clean his apartment full of memories until he heard a knock on the door. He set down his feather duster and walked over to the door. The knocking continued so he looked through the peep hole, not needing the to up on his toes like Jimin. He saw his next door neighbor and was glad it wasn't a stranger. He didn't want to talk to someone he didn't know. The woman was dusting off her short pink skirt with one hand and holding mail in the other.
Seokjin opened the door and greeted his neighbor warmly. "Hello, Rei. What can I help you with?" He asked, giving her a small smile. She was a good neighbor of whom would help him out of he had a problem and would lend him foods if he needed to cook. He would help her also, often at times cooking for her when it was the holidays. If made too much food for himself he would often invite her over for dinner because he liked her company.
Rei smiled back and handed him his mail. She made sure to let her fingers gently glide over his when handing it to him. "The mailman put your mail in my box again. So I just came to give it to you," she said.
The two stood there for a few moments, not speaking, until Seokjin decided to break the silence. "I'd invite you inside but I'm doing some spring cleaning so it wouldn't exactly be pleasant to come in." He stepped out of the way and showed her his now slightly messy apartment.
Rei gave him a weird look. "When is your apartment ever dirty? You're neat freak and you're barely ever home," she teased.
Seokjin chuckled and shook his head, smiling. "Well dust collects," he suggested.
Rei laughed, playfully hitting his chest. "Oh Seokjin, when will you ever let your apartment become messy?" She sighed and shook her head disapprovingly at him. Rei looked at her watch before looking back at him. "I've gotta go, I'm meeting my parents for lunch. I'll text you," she said, looking into his eyes.
Seokjin agreed and looked at her, wondering why she hasn't left yet. He wasn't sure what to say because she just said goodbye and he did too, so why wasn't she leaving? He stopped wondering when he felt warmish coldish arms wrap around his neck, a soft slender body press it's self against his, and a pair of supple lips attach themselves against his pink lips.
Before he knew it, the arms left his neck, the body left his body, and lips let go of his lips. The neighbor ran down the hall before Seokjin could react, before he could even realize what happened. And when he did, his heart found its way on to the roller-coaster of lust.
