(NRTS): How Yoongi Asked Miniko Out

'Miniko wasn't on the bus today,' Yoongi thought as he walked down to the Labs. 'It was weird without her there. This prissy girl sat next to me. It was annoying how she kept on staring at me out of the corner of her eye. And I when I finally asked her she just ignored me, turning her head blushing. She probably likes me, but these people know I have my heart set on Miniko.'

Yoongi reached into his blazer pocket and clutched a heart candy. 'If she was on the bus, I would've been able to give her the candy.' He shook his head, trying to shake off his disappointment. 'I'll just ask her tomorrow.'

He walked into his classroom and was surprised to see Miniko in her seat, diligently copying notes from another student. A grin creeped its way onto Yoongi's face when he saw her. Miniko's now pink and blues ombré hair was shielding most of her face from his view. He wished he could just pull her onto his lap and play with her beautiful curls. He hoped that confessing to her would allow him to do so.

"'Sup, Miniko," Yoongi spoke, walking behind their table to his seat. She smiled her sweet smile at him before returning to her notes. He frowned and laid his head on the table, staring at her. She looked at him staring at her for a moment, tilting her head. "You didn't say hi to me," he mumbled.

She giggled and waved at him. "Hi, Yoongi."

He smiled and was about to speak, but the chemistry teacher entered the room and began talking before he could. She pointed to the board and told them to follow the instructions to make a certain chemical and that they would get evaluated based upon the state of their chemical.

"Okay Yoongi, most of the chemical was already done so we just need to..." Miniko began talking and Yoongi began day dreaming. He imagined giving her the heart and then she stares at it in horror. She gently rejects him and he's left heartbroken. "...so let me grab some goggles and we can start."

Yoongi blinked as Miniko walked away. He cursed under his breath and tossed the candy somewhere. To his horror, it landed in the beaker that had their chemicals. His eyes widened as the clear liquid turned pink and was bubbling quietly. He bit his lip and quickly switched it out with the person next to them before they came back to the table.

Miniko came back, already wearing her goggles and looking adorable as she held another pair out to Yoongi. Throat dry, he took them and put it on. He watched as she whistled softly, putting her arms back to tighten the goggles. Almost immediately, he got up and moved her hands over, tightening them so they for perfectly on her head.

"Thanks, Yoongi-yah," she said, blushing.

Yoongi looked at her for a second before he began talking. "Miniko, I uh...I accidentally slipped a heart candy into the chemical and then switched it out with another groups. Please don't be mad andIwaswonderingifyouwouldgoonadatewithme."

Miniko whacked the back of his head causing him to grunt in pain. He bit his lip, waiting for the rejection. He was pleasantly surprised to see her hesitantly intertwine their hands and say yes.
