THREE MONTHS LATER, BRENNAN'S POV:
"Logan your son is killing me." I groan as I try to stand up, almost four months into this pregnancy and I still have morning sickness on the bright side we are expecting a little boy. "Hey he's our child, and I'm sorry he is still making you sick." Logan says coming over to me and helping me up after watching me struggle for a little bit. My bump is making life extremely difficult, especially at work people automatically think that they can touch my bump! "I have to go to work, and so do you. Go educate young minds about cell reproduction." I tell him with a laugh and I grab my lab coat and slip on my work shoes before heading to the door . "Have a good day baby." Logan says grabbing my arm and pulling me to him to give me a kiss. "I love you but if I don't go now I will be late." I say giving him another quick peck and then I exit my room.

"I'm sorry there was nothing we could do." I say quietly to one of my patients moms, the little girl had just died of lung cancer. "I am so sorry." I murmur pulling her into a hug and she shoves me away, pressing a hand into my bump. "How can you be sorry? You have no idea the pain of loosing a child!" She screams at me and I rub over the now sore spot on my bump. "I do actually, before this pregnancy I miscarried my son at five months. His name was going to be Anthony Vincent, believe me I do know the pain." I tell her trying to keep my cool then I leave the room with tears running down my cheeks. "Brennan, what's the matter?" Dr. Pennington asks and he pulls me into a hug. "I just had to tell a mom that her eight year old just died of lung cancer." I sob out into his shoulder, Dr. Pennington is the chief of pediatrics and he treats all of his attendings and residents like they are his own kids. "I'm sorry, why don't you take a break for a little bit. Relax, try not to stress too much. Honestly there was nothing we could do for that little girl." He says and he releases me from his hug. I walk to the on call room and curl up on one of the beds wrapping my arms around my bump, feeling my baby move and kick. "Did that lady hurt you baby?" I ask my bump as I feel the baby nudging at my hands, I see the door open and Dr.Pennington pokes his head in the door. "Brennan, you are free to go home. I have your patients covered." He tells me, I nod in response and I get out of the uncomfortable bed.

After I leave the hospital I check the time and see that it is almost Logan's lunch hour so I decide to stop by his favorite sushi place to pick up his favorite roll and a bowl of udon soup for me. "I'm here to see Logan Christiansen." I tell the lady at the school office and she gives me a visitors badge. "Room fourteen." She says and I walk down the hall, memories come flooding back of the four years with Logan by my side as only my friend back then. "Knock knock." I say as I open the door to his class room, surprised to see that class is still in session. "Brenny, come in!" Logan chimes from the front of the class, I walk up to him with the to-go bag in my hand. Logan gives me a quick peck on the cheek before turning his attention to his class, I smile as I see a boy and a girl who are sitting at the table that Logan and I had shared all those years ago. "Class this is Brennan, my girlfriend. So since she is here we are going to take a break from our work and you guys can ask her questions." Logan tells his class and then he brings me over a computer chair which I gladly sit in and start spinning. "Okay, ask away." I tell them and the hands shoot up, I look around the class deciding who to call on. "You in the think happy be happy shirt." I say pointing at a girl with blonde curly hair and she smiles at me.

"Are you pregnant?" she asks and I start laughing, I could really make her embarrassed right now. "Yeah, almost four months. Kid with the Justin  Bieber hair." I say and then I call on another kid. "Your wearing scrubs, are you a doctor?" He asks and I smile running a hand over my bump feeling the baby move around. "Yeah, I work in pediatrics. Boy who is obviously staring down the girl next to him's shirt." I say calling on a boy who has made it clear that he is the class man-whore. "So how did Mr. Christiansen score with some one as hot as you?" He asks and I gasp in shock, then look up at Logan. "Office NOW Avery!" Logan snaps at the boy and he grudgingly walks to the door, being completely over dramatic when he opens the door slamming it after he exits. "Are you having a boy or a girl?" I nice looking girl asks fiddling with a cross pendent hanging around her neck. "A little boy." I say with a smile and all the girls in the class chorus one soft 'aww'.  "Have you chose a name?" a boy wearing a theatre shirt with the current play logo on it.

"Nope, but I think Lennon would be cute." Logan answers for me and the baby starts kicking at the sound of his daddy's voice. All of a sudden the bell rings signaling lunch and the kids rush out of their seats. "Don't forget to study for the test this Friday!" Logan calls out as the class files out of the room. "I brought you sushi!" I chime pointing to the to-go bag and he grins at me pulling a desk over. He grabs the bag of food and sits in the chair connected to the desk. "You can't have sushi." he says furrowing his eyebrows and I frown. "I know, I have udon noodle soup. God, as soon as your son is out of my uterus  we are going for sushi." I say with a long sigh and the baby continues to kick at the sound of Logan's voice. "Alright, as soon as Lennon is born I will go get you sushi and bring it to you in the hospital." Logan tells me, calling the baby the name that he wants. "Lennon Blaine Christiansen, I like it." I tell him with a smile and he grins at me while he opens up his to-go box reviling an amazing looking sushi roll.

"Our little Lennon." he chimes and then we eat our lunch in comfortable silence.
