Reign Of the Three Friends

Chapter 1-Problems

         It all started one faithful day- six proud parents yelled out in hospitals: "Our girl is LUNA" or "DESTINY!" or "Oooh.. Xreato Orleanius!!" 

They grew up to be friends, and at the age of ten, on Christmas, they were exchanging gifts. The Starshine, the great lady who watched the Earth, came down to them, and whispered in her milky voice: Luna, Destiny and Xreato, you have been chosen. You have a blessed friendship, and you deserve what you're getting. I have given you the powers you wish for, and make use of them...I will be back when you're twenty...

For centuries, since man came to this planet, the legend's end was sealed. The Starshine came many centuries ago, and the Legend Of The Gift was passed on:

I am Starshine. I am to bestow four powers, great responsibility, to three lucky ten-year-olds. Prepare yourself, and you may be picked. I shall come on Christmas day, to bestow these lucky children power; Power that can destruct the Earth, and also help it in many more ways. These powers can be dangerous, but can be a great help.

For years,parents made their children smart, clean, neat.. and these three friends were picked. 

Luna discovered she had powers of infinite resource, metal, shape shifting, and nature. Destiny had fire, water, witchcraft and technology. Xreato had Time, teleport, telepathy and wishing.

"Do you know why we  were picked?" Luna asked mysteriously. "Nope, what about you..." Xreato said, and stopped when she saw Destiny, playing with fire balls and water balls. "WHAT?" she said, giggling. "I think it's cool. I mean, who has powers on EARTH? Practically NO ONE!!!" 

The others looked at her. She was right. Who else, who other 10 year olds had powers? They were AWESOME, and awesomely ruling the world. 

"People are worshiping us!!" Luna whispered, in front of a huge mob of people. "X, I'm hungry.. can you wish for cookies??" Destiny whispered back. Xreato groaned. A pack of cookies appeared in Destiny's hands. "Sweet!" she said. After a day, the three found living with powers difficult. They were so unstable! If Xreato wished for food, she'd get water. If Luna tried to make a metal plate, she'd get a metal crate. If Destiny tried to make a potion that makes your hair rainbow coloured, it made your hair go whacko!  It got so ridiculous that Luna almost whipped up a tornado, Xreato almost teleported to Brazil, and Destiny almost set her house on fire, then flooded it trying to extinguish the small fire. 

Their families were scared, the world now only liked them so much.  "What do we do, D and X?" Luna asked. "I don't want to do much, guys. WE SURE CAN LEARN HOW TO USE THESE POWERS!!" Destiny yelled. "Well, D, we might have to go into hiding," Xreato said. Destiny gawked at her. Luna shrugged.  "Not until you see this!" Destiny insisted. She wrote her name in fire and water, inter weaved in the air like thread. "AT LEAST I can do that," she grumbled. "Well..." Luna said, and lifted a glass to Destiny's mouth. As she swallowed, a horrid taste came to her. Her hair turned bright yellow. "DESTINY!!!!" she screamed. Destiny gulped. Xreato quickly reversed the potion from going in Luna's  mouth, but made the hair-do worse. "There!" she said, not wanting to tell Luna it was worse.  "Thanks, X. Any way, about going into hiding..." Luna said. "D? D?! DESTINY???!!!!!!" Xreato screamed. "huh?" Destiny said, looking up from her gadget. "OH! Oh, sorry! Anyways, hiding is a great idea!" A huge grin appeared on her face.
