Reign Of the Three Friends

Chapter 3-Practice

"All done!" The three cried in union "JINX! JINX! Okay stop it, wait what?" They said in union again and started rolling on the floor tears of laughter rolling down their cheeks "L-O-L!" Luna said clutching her stomach in laughter

"I KNOW RIGHT!" Destiny screamed. "Anyways weren't we supposed to check out our rooms?" Xreato asked "Yep," Luna replied "LETS GO THEN!" Destiny exclaimed, Xreato snapped her fingers and poof she was in her room. It had a hammock tied to two trees, a desk full of cards, a very advanced and high tech computer, five clocks and watches, a barrier for practicing her powers with shurikens  and a bookshelf filled with lots of different types of books.

Destiny on the other hand, her bedroom was how would I say this... Eccentric, it had a cupboard that looked like a cupcake,which she managed to fit over a thousand of books with some tech,  a desk that had mini figures of Luna, Xreato and her, a bed with flames circling the posts and her walls were covered in spells she was trying to use, half neon green, half black,pictures of her family and Luna and Xreato and well... Wrenches and tweezers for her inventions along with some kind of water fire thingy, and a huge collection of laptops and Luna well...

 A bit well too nature friendly she had a bed that was actually a tree that had kinda grown inside of the giant tree that had a ladder to climb up into the boughs which was where her bed was (no she wouldn't sleep on the wood, she put a mattress up there), her cupboard had birds on the top and lizards as the handle it was painted a white colour also with the same metal carvings, her desk had ivy growing on it along with a wallflower and a knife woven into the vines and on her desk was pictures of her and her friends on a pin board and her walls had been covered nearly completely with metal mesh and swords, shurikens, machetes, knives, katanas and any other weapon she could make which she practised her on and her metal powers on, a bookshelf which had lots of books of different genres and a secret room that was hidden in her cupboard which was basically her training room, only Xreato knew about it.

"I love it!" Destiny cried "You?" She asked both her friends "Absolutely!" they replied "Who wants to try to use their powers outside?" Luna asked "Yep," Destiny and Xreato exclaimed in union. They ran outside.

Xreato was first she said she would try using her wishing powers first "Im going to try to wish for Luna to get set on fire.

"Wait what?" Luna said confused. "You heard her she wants to wish for you to set on fire!" Destiny replied "Um okay? But lemme transform into a fire demon," Luna said to ensure her saftey and poof in her place was a fish? "What no!" Luna cried mentally.

 "Please not yet..." she begged Xreato "Okay, I'll make sure Destiny uses her water powers on you," Xreato said to the fish "And maybe transform into a frog? You'll have less chance to be burnt due. your moisture," she suggested "Okay," Luna said, a tone cowardice in the mental voice and poof she turned into a frog successfully and Xreato told Destiny about her water powers being used on this and Destiny agreed.

 Xreato whispered something on her breath and BAM Luna was on fire, Destiny took a look and whiz water was pouring from her hands and onto Luna's form of animal. She transformed back to human form. "Woot, woot!" Luna cried "Awesome!" "Okay, its my turn," Destiny said "I wanna practice my witchcraft!" She added "Xreato, can you wish for a cauldron, long stick, some toadstools, a diamond, sweets, cookies, juinper and holly please," she asked with puppy eyes.

 "Fine," Xreato said and poof there were all the ingredients but an extra thing was added... A giant bear! "Ahh!" Destiny and Xreato screamed and ran behind Luna "Hold on, I got this," Luna said and poof a skunk with a pink nose appeared in the place where Luna was standing and faced the bear. Xreato knew what was going on and wished for gas masks for her and Destiny and there they were, there was a agonising wail from the bear and it ran off.

"I must've blinded him or something..." Luna said, guilt on her voice "Luna, its part of nature. If the bear saw a skunk it would've been sprayed too," Destiny said with forgiveness "But not so much, I blinded him!" Luna shrieked and held her hands to her face "Luna! It's just a bear! There will always be more to replace it! Please just understand that! We're only ten for god's sake!" Xreato screamed, Luna looked up into Xreato's eyes and in them she saw annoyance but as soon as Luna looked up there was guilt in her eyes as well. "I'm going to my room," Luna said in a stony voice and she got up and walked up the stairs.

"What have I done?" Xreato whispered "What have I done?" she repeated "It's okay, just give her time to cool off. You wanna get along with each other with a game of potion-challenge?" Destiny said soothingly "Okay," Xreato said and Destiny went up to Luna's room. "Luna Facepaw! Wanna come play a game of potion-challenge?" Destiny shrieked though the key hole, Luna sighed "How could I say no?"

They sat together on the floor near a cauldron and all the ingredients a witch could ask for and started playing. The rules were:

1. There must be at least two players mixing the potion.

2.The players who are mixing the potions must use four ingredients only.

3.Once the players are done, they must give their concoction to the opposing player.

4. The player that is given the potion must guess what ingredients there are in the potion, if close or completely correct, the opposing player gets either one or two points depending how close the guesses were.

Destiny said there being poisonous berries and stuff in there but mixed some antidotes luckily. They began the game. Luna and Xreato were to make the potions first, Destiny had gone into the other room so she wouldn't hear. "Okay, lets put some juniper I think with maybe a bit of jay feathers?" Luna asked " How'd you know they were jay feathers? Never mind I agree, with maybe a pinch of lavender and... Seawater?" Xreato added mischievously, sea water wasn't on the list so they decided that they would trick Destiny for once. They mixed all four ingredients, the concoction was a dark pink colour, "Destiny! We're done!" Xreato shouted "Coming!" Destiny shouted back and ran into the kitchen and sat down with them in front of the small cauldron "Okay, where's the potion bottle? Ah thanks Luna." Destiny said , dipped the potion bottle into the concoction, lifted it to her mouth and smacked her lips to absorb the flavour. "Hmm, a touch of juniper, maybe a bit of- hmm what's it called, that purple flower? Ah-ha! Lavender and some kinda bird feather either jay or blue tit? And sea water?" Destiny said "Hey! I told you no unauthorized ingredients!" Destiny scolded using her expanse of words. Xreato and Luna couldn't say a thing, Destiny had named all the ingredients and just stood there staring at her with their jaws on the floor. They continued playing until the evening where Xreato wished for some roast chicken and rice, but got an additional cat along with it!
