When I think of the word "happiness", I don't think of it as a feeling, or an emotion, I think of her. I can't help it.
You see; if you've ever been in love, you will know what I mean. There is no stopping it, no controlling it. Your heart is full of admiration and desire for that person.
You adore them, every fibre of their being, of their presence, of them. Their existence is a blessing upon your world. You feel grateful to know them.
Have known them.
I should probably get used to saying that. 2 years ago I left a place called Rosewood.
There is one thing, one reason I want to go back. Her.
I never should of left. I never should of left her. I knew back then, those 2 years ago, I knew it was love.
I let stress and fear get to me, I was supposed to be tough, I was Alison DiLaurentis.
I couldn't show weakness. It was unheard of. I had to go before I hurt myself, and impacted the people around me. I loved them too much and held them too dearly to my heart, to hurt them.
I want to go home. To her.
They say that "distance makes the heart grow fonder",
Part of me believes that, part of me doesn't.
On the one hand, I know that my heart has grown even more in love since I've been gone. Yet the distance has also caused my heart to be shattered, broken, torn apart.
I feel like my friends hate me. I would.
I do.
I do hate me.
I want to go home. But does home want me?
