Chapter 19 : Meanie Kabir.

It's freaking Saturday , five days since Karan confessed his feelings and yet, he has neither  replied to my messages nor answered my calls.

I know, I should give him some space and some time, but now, I'm too running out of patience.

My impatience is getting better of me and I dial his residence number.

I could  hear the phone ringing but no one answers.

I try Kabir's number.

It straight away goes to voice mail.

Ugh!!! I feel like screaming and hitting the first thing that comes in my way.

In this mess, I'm yet to tell Alia about my first kiss.

Even in this fucked up situation, I smile at the thought of my first kiss.

It was so so so real !

Stupid,  the kiss was indeed real!

Unconsciously, I touch my lips as if , his lips were still there.

Oh good Lord! Help me.

Karan is making me feel things which I've never felt. In fact, I never had this gooey feeling even for Virat.

Karan Khurana you will be the death of me!

I come out my 'Karan wonderland ’ and decide to march to Kabir's office.

Only Kabir can tell me about Karan's whereabouts.

I grab my keys and make my out.
Khurana Constructions here I come.

Khurana constructions stood tall and almighty, comprising of eleven floors.

Or was it twelve?

Getting through security was a tough. I had clearly underestimated the security out here!

I somehow reached in and made my way to the reception.

“ How can I help you, mam? ”, the girl at the desk asked.

“Kabir Khurana”, I snap.

“Mam, do you have an appointment?”, she asks.

“I don't have a fucking appointment but tell Kabir, Naina Kapoor is here to meet him ”, I say angrily at the poor girl.

“Mam, I'm afraid, I can't let you in without an appointment”, she says.

“Do you even know who am I? I don't need an appointment to see Kabir. Put me on phone right now! ”, I snap.

“Mam, please! You don't understand-”

“No excuses! Put me on phone right now! ”, I raise my voice as my patience was quickly wearing.

“Hey, Naina! What a pleasant surprise!”, I hear a familiar voice.

I turn around to see Kabir making his way towards me.

“Kabir, I'm not in a mood to exchange pleasantries”, I say trying to keep my anger at bay.

“I guess you are super upset but what's going on? ”, he looks between the receptionist and me.

“Why don't you ask your receptionist?”, I say.

Kabir didn't fail to get the venom in my tone. He knew, I was very very upset.
