I Love You

Before you all kill me, i just want to apologize for the super long wait and for not updating all this time. I have been very busy but I'm back now and i do plan on finishing the boo so don't worry. Ch. 10- I Love You

For the first time in a month, i woke up with my mate next to me. Turning on my side to face him, i took this time to examine his peaceful sleeping face. Like always, his beauty left me awestruck and once again I was filled with pride and disbelief at the knowledge that this perfect creature was all mine. Unable to help myself, i gently caressed his face before closing my eyes and placing a slow kiss on his lips. When i pulled back, captivating green eyes were staring back at me in amusement. Unable to look away, i felt myself blush at being caught staring by him.

"Um, morning?" i said, hoping to rush off my embarrassment. 

Ignoring my greeting, my mate gently grabbed my hips and pulled me on top of him before sitting up on the bed. "Kiss me again," he said huskily as he ran his hands up and down my sides.

He didn't have to tell me twice. Leaning forward I complied to his request as our lips meet yet again. This kiss was hungry, passionate and i couldn't hold back my moan as Caden's mouth moved against mine. He took that opportunity to add his tongue to the mix and earned another moan from me as the kissing intensified. My hands found their way into his hair as his slipped under my shirt and roamed across my stomach. When the need to breath became absolutely necessary, we broke apart, breathing deeply as our foreheads touched. 

"Damn," he whispered, looking me up and down. "I could wake up to this everyday."

My blush returned as i realize just how inappropriate our position was. I was basically straddling him wearing only a long shirt and shorts. My embarrassment returned as i tried to get off of him but his hold on my hips tighten.

"Where do you think you're going, my sexy mate?" 

"Uh..... b-bathroom," I stuttered, ignoring the flutters that erupted inside me at his little pet name. Smirking at my nervousness, he nuzzled his head into my neck before releasing me. I took the opportunity to run to the bathroom, hearing my mate chuckle behind me. 

Taking care of my daily hygiene, I brushed my teeth and showered before heading back inside the room. Relieved to see Caden was no longer in there, i quickly got dressed into a cute black shirt and some red jeans. Once i was dressed, i headed downstairs where i smelled bacon... and eggs? Sure enough, I entered the kitchen to find Caden standing behind the stove whistling. He must have heard me come down because he turned and motioned me closer with that heartwarming smile.

"Come, sit, eat," he ordered, placing a plate in front of me. Obeying him I dug in and was surprised at hoe good it actually tasted. I looked up at him and he shrugged. "Being broke and hungry in college makes you learn how to cook real quick."

I nodded at his explanation before continuing eating as he sat next to me and did the same. Once i was done, he took our plates and started washing them.

"Why aren't you out doing pack business? And where's Seth and Lucy?" I asked, noting how quiet the house was.

"I gave them the day off. It's just me and you today," he replied.

I was confused. "But don't you have Alpha duties to handle?"

"It's nothing my Beta and third-in-command can't handle. Plus, i want to spend with you."
