I step out of the car and joy comes running down and pulls calum into a big high and starts crying about how much she missed him I kinda stood there awkwardly until Mali told me to come inside

"Hello sweetheart" joy said to me after her Calums huge hug

"Hey joy"I say as she pulls me into a hug

"Its been so long since I have seen you last" joy says a smile on her face

"I know it seems like years"I say even though it's only been a week

"Mom it has only been a week since you've seen her last"Mali says

"Well unlike you Mali she has a lot less attitude" David their dad says as he comes down stairs and hugs calum

"Ha ha dad I don't have attitude." Mali says with attitude

" my point exactly." David says as Mali rolls her eyes

"So calum how was tour" Joy asked

"It was so much fun I meet so many fans I got to do what I love every single night" he says with his face lighting up when he talks

he's going on and on as I just watched his lips as he talked

"Its not polite to stare" Mali says

"What no I'm not" I say in panic

"what no not you" she said pointing to her phone in an instagram pic her ex boy friend was starring at a girls butt "like we broke up a week ago now he is already moving on like come on Jason she is not even cute" she said

"True" I said really wasn't listening

"Who would you knew staring at anyway" she said oblivious

"Oh I don't know I thought you were talking to me" I said holding she wouldn't catch on

I went back to listening to calum and his parents conversion as Mali insta-stalked

"Calum why won't you just stay here or find an apartment " his mom asked

"Because my feet hang over my bed, the couch is uncomfortable, and I'm to lazy to look at places plus I want to spend time with my sis" he said Mali not paying attention

"So sky how's law school going"
David said

"It's... going"I said as calum looks in disbelief

"You are in law school?" Calum asked

"Yeah? Why?" I asked

" you look like you would want to be a writer or something creative."he says not realizing he that that is how I feel

I always wanted to be an artist but my mom wanted a doctor or a lawyer so I put on a mask and act like I like it

"Calum" joy says sharply

"No it's okay I don't know about your career and you don't know about mine." I say sharply walking outside
