"John is it ok if I come over to your place, because I don't think I can be here for the time being?"
"Of course you can." They grab the basket and the blanket and head over to his place.
"Wow this is not the typical bachelor's pad John".
"Well I'm not your typical bachelor River, am I?" They watch t.v. for a couple of hours when they hear a voice that sounds a lot like Amy.
"I can't believe I've never noticed how much I liked Rory Arthur Williams; we just had our first date and I already want to marry him" while this whole thing is going both River and John are watching it, and John is holding River from behind. When Amy is done they slowly get out of the embrace, and River opens up the door to go hug Amy to say 'I forgive you. Amy then invites John to Thanksgiving dinner, so he knows not to make any plans which he doesn't,since its only September.
