Chapter 4 The Picnic

Few days later John shows up at her residence after he knocks on the door Amy and Rory open up the door and pretend to be surprised.

"Oh um is River here?"

"River come here John is here to see you."

As she comes down the stairs that lead to her bedroom and says "hello sweetie."

"River do you want to go on a picnic I have a basket." As she reaches the door they grab each others hands and as she looks out the front door, she sees a blanket on the roof his car. When they approach the car he picks her up as she giggles and sets her down.After that he gets out the food and as he grabs some he says, "open up," as he feeds her sweetly.

"Now do the same thing sweetie."

During this whole thing Amy and Rory are watching on and Amy says, "they are so made for each other."

Rory intergects, " honey don't you remember in high school you kept trying to get River to meet John. And now just think not long after the run into eachother they go on a date and we saw them kiss." As he finishes they both look out and see River's head on John's shoulder as they seem to be dancing. As River lifts her head she kisses John.

As the kiss breaks she has a big sweet smile on her face and whispers, "only you can kiss me with such devotion John."

"Well when somebody is beautiful as you it's hard not to because you are not only beautiful and smart you are also the best girlfriend a guy could ask for. Before the date I was already falling for you."
