That Saturday night at the Melting Pot.
As the doctor touches River's hand soflty. She blushes and says "John I have to eat and you are grasping the hand I eat with Sweetie. "
"Oh we are already making up pet names beautiful. "
"Oh stop it."
"Make me."
"Maybe I will."
They eventually finish eating and The Doctor walks River home and up to the door and after a while River thinks to herself "will he just kiss me already I'm mot gonna go inside till he does." As it starts to sprinkle John moves in slowly as his lips touches hers they both smile and River thinks to herself. "This is the man I'm gonna marry."
As they part they smile and say goodnight and that they will see one another at work on Monday. River leans her head against the door as John trips down the stairs. Neither of them notice in the distance Amy and Rory are watching on and after John is gone they walk up and ask River "What is with the smile on your face?"
"Oh nothing I just have to go wright down something."
