•Charlie's POV•

Shit, my head kills.

I wake up spread out on one of the couches, the boys and Jade's friends passed out on couches around me.

I know I'm hung over the second I wake up wanting to puke, but I don't remember drinking that much. Sure, I had beer at the party, but I didn't drink again afterwards. Fuck, yeah I did. Damn it Danny! Most of the night was clouded by memories of dancing with Jade.

The memory makes me smile as I get up to make coffee for the group of people surrounding me with snores. I almost scream when I see someone standing in the kitchen but I manage not to, trying not to wake up the others.

"Holy shit! You scared the hell out of me!" I say, realizing it's Jorel who has just given me a panic attack.

"Sorry man, I made coffee though."

"Thanks," I gratefully say, taking the cup from his outstretched hand.

"No problem. Is it a bit too early to ask you a question, Charles?" He asks, knowing how I usually was during mornings.

"Go crazy." I'm still a bit too happy to care how early it is, or about the huge ass migraine I have.

"Ok so, about you and Jade, what's going on with you two?"

"Uh..." That catches me off guard. I don't even know for myself, so how do I answer this?

"Well, I told her I liked her and she said the same thing. I know you know we've kissed, and it was perfect. She gave me her number and I told her I'd call and ask her out." I decide to say what's happened, nothing about a status that I'm not even sure of.

"Good for you!" Jorel says a bit too loud and I worry it's going to wake the late sleepers.

"Calm your shit, Jorel. You'll wake her up."

"Well you can't exactly just leave her there and watch her sleep, man."

Before thinking, I say out loud, "It's damn cute though." Shit, Jorel is never going to let that go.

"Ha, you're serious? Just go get the damn girl," he laughs.

"What girl?" Asks a girl's voice entering the kitchen. Jade.

"Good morning!" I try to distract her.

"Morning. It can't be that good when my head hurts like a bitch."

"Here," Jorel says, reaching out a mug, "some coffee."

"Thank you."

We don't really have a seating area in the kitchen, just the nearby living room that had all the couches and the TV. We spend most of the time here when we're home. Because of this, the three of us are awkwardly leaning on the kitchen counter, me trying to look like I'm perfectly calm. No way could I actually be calm near this girl though.

"So seriously, what girl, Charlie?" Jade asks me. I can't help but see a glimpse of hurt in her eyes, as if she could possibly think I was interested in another girl after what I said yesterday.

"You! Duh!" A very eager Jorel chimes in. Damn, man, why?!

"Oh..." Jade says, the blush I've seen a millpion times in the past twenty four hours is showing again.

J laughs at her mood change and walks back to the living room area, leaving Jade and I with a bit of privacy. Considering there isn't a door though, more of a gap, it isn't a big separation.

"Really?" Jade asks me, head down but looking up at me through her eyelashes.

"Really what?" I take a sip of my coffee.
