Chapter 6: MOMMY

Shania's PoV

"Yes Maur. They are your parents." wika ni Lolo Sean.

I can't believe what's happening right now. Is my brain isn't working properly? parents? That's not even in my own vocabulary. Loading... Loading... Processing... process complete.

The word 'PARENT' echoes in my head like a broken recorder.

"They are YOUR parents."

Like what the heck?! What is this kid talking about right now? Us? Parents?and especially me being a mother?

This is really getting out of hand.

"W-what?" tanong ni Zero na unang nakabawi saaming dalawa. It seems like this is all planned. I looked at my parents na tinitingnan lang kami.

"Do you know about this?" irritation present in my voice.

"Yes dear. We know about it." sagot ni Daddy. Napatawa na lang ako, a sarcastic one.

"Are we really his parents?" seryosong tanong ni Zero.

"Yes, you are" ngayon si Lolo Zyn na ang sumagot. Feeling ko nawala lahat ang kagustuhan kong kumain and the itchiness that I'm feeling was all gone.

"Hah! Stop fooling around old man. We both know that that will never happen. How can that happen? We just got married and it's NOT out of our own free will. We didn't even do 'it'." said Zero with a sarcastic tone.

This is the first time that me and Zero have the same feeling about something. We usually have different opinions about everything.

"Would you both listen first before you react." Lolo Sean said with an authorative voice. One thing about my grandpa that I'm scared of is his voice. It's got this intimidating feel in it. I looked at my parents with my whats-your-explanation-then-look.

"Well, this kid here is really BOTH your child.." Mommy said with emphasis to both. Kokontra na sana ako but Daddy glared at me so I shut my mouth and listened to my Mom.

"..we already have the copy of his birth certificate and you both are the guardians."

This time napatayo na si Zero at napataas na ang boses niya. "How can that happen when in the first place she didn't get pregnant and how can that really happen when we only got married only a few months ago!" kulang na lang maghysterical si Zero. Halatang-halata sa mukha niya na galit na galit na talaga siya. He's face is red as a tomato.

Hindi ko siya masisi kung ganun na lang ang reaksyon niya. Truthfully, I really want to shout at my parents right now, but I need first get the information before I make any rash judgements.

"Zero Elrick Garcia sit down. NOW." I said coldly. He looked at me as if I'm crazy or some sort. I'm just sitting calmly in my chair but deep inside I'm already angry and irritated at the same time. I've never been this pissed my whole life. He slumped back to his chair with a frown in his face.

(a/n: Mommy stands for sa mother ni Shan and Mom naman sa mother ni Zero. Same goes to Zero.)

Napatingin naman ako sa papel and it was a birth certificate.

"Zion Maur Young-Garcia." mumbled Zero. He looked at the child and so did I.

I was out of words ng mas titigan ko ang bata.Pakiramdam ko binuhusan ako ng malamig na tubig pagkakakita ko sa kanya. Nobody can deny that he's not Zero's child. He's the exact replica of him. Parang pina-photocopy lang ang mukha ni Zero at plinaster sa mukha ng bata.

Pero napansin ko na ang mga mata nito ay galing saakin. Hindi mo mapapansin na magkamukha sila ni Zero kung hindi mo talaga ito tititigan ng husto. He stared back at us, more like analyzing us. From a scrutinizing look to a happy look. Tumakbo siya papunta saamin and the next thing I know he was hugging me.
