Chapter 4: WAR

Midnight's PoV

My days were normal as it can be. Even though I'm already committed I still try my best to live on my own.

Happenings about my married life? Well the fact na palagi kaming nag-aaway. We already have an equation, Zero + Shania= WAR.

Iniiwasan kong magkrus ang landas namin sa bahay because we would just end up yelling at each other.

Di ko alam kung bakit. basta ganun kami. Magkahiwalay na ang kwarto namin. Magkatabi lang naman but atleast we won't share the same room. Hindi ko kakayanin na matulog sa iisang kama kasama siya. There was a time that instead of sleeping ay nagpillow fight kami.

Kalalabas ko pa lang ng bahay ng makita ko si Zero na nakasandal sa kotse niya. I won't deny the fact that he is handsome, no scratch that, he's GORGEOUS. Attractive eyes, pink kissable lips, lean and strong body that every girl would dream of.

"Alis." I said authoritively. Tiningnan lang niya ako na para bang nababaliw na ako. Inalis niya ag shades niya, I must admit he looks really sexy.

"What did you say?" tanong niya.

"Bingi ka ba? Ang sabi ko umalis ka dahil nakaharang ka sa dadaanan ko. Tcch."

"Are you seriously saying that to your HUSBAND?" sabi nya na may diin pa sa husband.

"I really don't care if you're my husband or what. So move it." Nakakainis na talaga ng lalaking toh.

"Aish. Pumasok ka na nga lang!" I smirked inside. Pikon pala ang isang toh, para yun lang.

"Why would I?" hands across my chest.

"Will you just get inside! Aga-aga pinapa-init mo ulo ko eh." pikon niyang sabi at pumunta na sa driver's seat.

Nanatili lang akong nakatayo nagtatalo kung sasakay ba ako o hindi.

"What are you waiting for? Christmas to come?" he must be joking right?

Well, sasakay na lang ako since tinatamad akong maglakad papuntang bus station. I actually have a car. But I only use it when I'm in the mood. Sumakay na nga akong ng kotse niya. Pero bago ko pa mailagay ang seatbelt ko, pinaharurot na niya ang kotse niya. Kalmado lang akong nakaupo sa shotgun seat. Hindi naman ako takot if the car runs really fast. Actually that's what I prefer, and it's one of the reasons why my parents had second thoughts about buying me a car, when I bring home a car expect it to have scratches on it.

Pagdating namin sa tapat ng school gate ng school ko, agad akong lumabas at dire-diretso lang na naglakad papuntang classroom ko. As I walk can hear the buzzing noises of the insecure at the side, and their conversations goes like this:

"She's such a b**ch. Why did she came out of Zero's car?" leech 1

"You are so right girl! He's really famous in our school. Baka she is trying sinusubukan to landi Zero.leech 2

I'm trying hard na walang sound na kumawala sa bibig ko. I still have my poker face on. Sana naman kung hindi siya marunong ng english tagalugin niya na lang. Pagdating ko ng room, of course pinagtitinginan nanaman akong mga estudyante. I just gave them the what-are-you-looking-at-look agad naman silang nag-iwas.

Si Ginger naman naghihintay na sa may table ko. I sat down and immediately took out my book. But before I could even open my book hinablot naman ito ni Ginger.

"What do you want?" I asked coldly.

"Cold ata natin ngayon ah. Anyways, why did you come out of Zero Elrick Garcia's car?"

Napatingin naman ako sakanya. Ang bilis naman ata maka-abot ng tsismis.

"How did you know?"

"So hindi mo ide-deny?" she asked arms across her chest.

"There's nothing there to deny."

"Ok sabi mo eh." at tumango-tango "Pero bakit ka nga galing sa kotse niya? nakatira ba kayo sa iisang village? He picked you up along the way, or maybe..." ang mukha ni Ginger parang may nakita siyang malaking pagkakamali sa lahat ng sinabi niya.

"Maybe what?"

"Maybe nakatira kayo sa iisang bahay." she said amazement written all over her face pero agad namang nagbago sa unsure.

"Pero malayo namang mangyari yun. Isang Shania Midnight Young magkagusto sa isang Zero Elrick Garcia, parang imposible ata." she said with hand gestures. Ung para bang kino-compare niya.

Napailing-iling na lang ako sa mga sinabi niya at inayos ang glasses ko. Sakto namang dumating na ang adviser.

"Settle down class. I have a special announcement. Next month would be the school's festival, and since your Grade 12 students in Li'nes Academy the faculty is expecting high from you. Every class needs to have a booth and a presentation for the Festival Ball. I will give you my time this morning to plan for the activity."

Shemssss. Ang pinakahihintay ng mga estudyante ay nandito na. Li'nes Festival. Andun na nga di'ba sa title it showcase the talents of the students of Li'nes Academy.

Our academy is one of the most prestigious schools in Asia. Lahat ata na anak ng mga business owners dito nag-aaral. One thing I hate about this activity is the Festival Ball. All students must attend. I hate balls. Kahit nga sa mga party or gathering nila Mommy hindi ako pumupunta.

I just hate crowded places and glamorous beings. I came back to reality when I felt someone nudging me. I looked at the whole class and everyone was looking at me even the teacher is.

"Shania are you alright?" tanong saken ni Laureen, ang president namin.

"Yeah. I'm fine. What is it?"

"We are planning on what we're going to do for the festival. Do you have any suggestions?"

I looked at the white board at ang nakasulat lang dun ay haunted house at maid cafe.

"Haunted cafe." tipid kong sagot.

"Haunted cafe?" pag-uulit ni shiira. "And how do you think we're supposed to do that?" bitchy na tanong ni Shira.

"What do you think Shira? Cuddle with the customers? Have common sense! It's all in the title!" iritang sabi ni Ginger. Mukhang napahiya siya sa sinabi ni Ginger at namula pa dahil sa inis.

"Well, I think it's a great idea." sang-ayon ng kaklase kong isa.

Tumango-tango naman ung iba as an agreement.

"Then, it's settled." sabi ni president. Sakto namang nagbell, end of the first period.
