My High School Crush

Chapter 23

I'm at home making Chicken Alfredo when my phone starts to ring. I stop what I'm doing to see who it is. When I look at it I see that it's my mother calling.

"Hello."

"Hello dealing, how are you?" She sounds cheerful.

I put the phone between my ear and shoulder and go back to making my dinner. "I'm fine."

"You don't sound fine." I can hear the worrying in her voice. "What's wrong honey, are you missing us already?" She starts to laugh.

"No, well I do miss you guys, but that's not it."

"Okay so then what?" 

"Are you pregnant?" She asks.

"MOM NO!" I can't not believe she just said that.

"What honey I'm just asking."

After I hang up the phone. I start to cook again. After I'm done eating I do the dishes and some laundry. 

As I walk pass my computer I think what my mom said. 

I just don't know. I want to, but I'm also afraid. 

You know what. I'm going for it. I take a seat at my computer and began to give Mr. Johnson my answer.

Dear Mr. Johnson,

    This is Miss Hunter which I'm sure you already know since you have my email and we work together. would love to go on a date with you. How does Friday night sound?

I press send and now I wait.

After about five to ten minutes I hear my computer go ding. Letting me know I have an message. I take deep breath and open the message.

Dear Miss Hunter,

   I would like to let you know how happy I am that you have accepted my offer and yes Friday sounds perfect. I'll pick you up up 7. Can't wait to see you.

Omg I'm going on a date with my boss/ high school crush.

Their about to go on a date.......: )
