Hide and Seek Book 1: Book of the Urban Legend

Chapter 1

Alex and Kath gathered in one place. No one knows only them. But they aren't acting to their friends when they're around. Their place is the abandoned mansion that Japhet mentioned a while ago. It was a creepy-looking abandoned mansion. When they came in, there are chairs and tables that covered in white cloths. A dusty white cloths. And a dusty chandelier that hanging in the roof. They looked at each other and smirk.

"Perfect." Alex mummured. Kath noded. They smirked. A deadly smirk.

They walked around and split up. When alex opened the first to the last door, it creeped. She smirked and walked in. It was a bed room. A bedroom. A perfect bedroom to hide. Kath walked in the kitchen to found a very old bloody knife. The blood dried. She felt regret about doing this. She was only forced and she didn't dare to tell Alex that she wanted to quit because she'll wounded up killing Kath. She put down the knife and walked out of the room. She just waited for Alex to go out. She played on her phone. She don't want getting bored. She hate it.

Minutes later, Alex came. Kath looked at her and stand lazily. They waved goodbyes at each other and walked in the seperate ways. Kath decided to go to the park. When she is walking she bumped into someone.

"So-Sorry!" The person said. Kath looked up to see Bryan. She blushed.

"N-No its fine." She said and looked away to hide the blush. Bryan landed his hand to help Kath to stand. And she gladly accept it. She brushed her skirt and looked at him.

"Thank you." She said.

"No problem." He said. "By the way, where are you going?" He asked.

She looked at his eyes and said. "To the park. You?"

He looked down to his shoes and said. "Same."

"Is there something wrong?" She asked.

"I had issues with my family." He said.

She stared at him sadly and asked. "Wanna talk about it?"

"Promise me you won't tell anyone." He said.

"I won't promise." She said. "Oh! And one thing." She said.

"What is it?" He asked.

"Why do you wear long sleeves? Its hot in our country ya'know." She said.

"Let's talk when we're at the park." He said.

They walked until they reached the park. They sat under one tree.

"So tell me." Kath said eagerly.

"I was... abused." He said and looked away.

She gasped and said. "Horrible."

"I wanted to die but I don't want to hurt myself. I want you or the others do that when were not friends anymore." He said and looked down.

'Yes you will die. And the killer is me'

"N-No! Don't think like that!" She said.

'Because I loved you so much.'

"Why?" He asked.

"Because... Because, you dream! You have a great friends! No one will leave you! If they leave you then I'm the one who will stand by your side!" Kath said yelled causing the people looked at her.

"S-Sorry." She said and faked coughed.

"No its fine." He said and smiled weakly. "Oh! Its getting late. I will walk you home."

"No thank you. My house is near. Just around the next corner." She said.

"Okay." He said.

Kath stand and left. Once again she is alone. No family. No one saw her tears. No one except Alex. Tears of sadness. Tears of regret and the tears of rage. Her parents have a job abroad and not coming back. They dosen't know what is happening to her. She came in her apartment door and opened it.

No one can stop her. No one will loved her. No one will stand by her side and no one will saw her true self.
