Chapter 4

Bryan's PoV

When I was walking to my apartment. I heard a scream. A high-pitched and loud scream. But, wait. High-pitched? I only know one person who lives here with a high-pitched voice. Wait, isn't it... Katherine!?

I run towards to her apartment door. I tried to opened it but it was locked. But I looked around and I saw a key not too long from her door. I get it and tried it on her door. Luckily it opened. I saw her crying and bleeding. She looked at me with scared eyes saying I should help her. I can't do anything. I'm a whimp. But suddenly my world faded in black.

Kath's PoV

I looked at Bryan scaredly. Please help me. But suddenly he just laugh for no reason. What is he?! Insane?! He stopped laughing and smirked. He looked directly to the man.

"It's not my hobby that I hurt people, but..." he said and looked to the man. "... I would gladly kill you without a second thought." He said and pulled out a flickblade. "This is fun." He said excitedly while smirking ear to ear.

What... what in the world is happening?!

Bryan's PoV

What's happening? Why am I laughing? Why is my body moving on its own? This blade... why?... what in the world is happening?!

"AHAHAHAHA! I told you, its fun isn't it?!" I laughed at the man who is panting and the blood is dripping from his head.

Why am I blood-thirsty person? Why? I hate this side! I hate my self! But... it was fun to see an individual suffering! I loved how the event is going on!

Kath's PoV

Wh-What?! This is not the Bryan I know! Why is he like this? Is because of his abusive family or what! But suddenly a woman strangled me.

"What did I do to you?!" I yelled making Bryan looked at me... no, at us.

"You did a crime to your father! That's unforgivable!" My mother yelled.

"It was his fault!" I yelled. Only my mother's hand grip thighter. My vision is blurry. But I heard a bone cracking sound from my mother's neck. She dropped me and I was panting for air.

Was it... finished?

Bryan's PoV

I came back to my senses. I run towards Katherine.

"Are you alright?" I asked. But suddenly she hugged me. She is trembling in fear. But I noticed the blade was still in my hands. I quickly hide it on my pocket.

"Its okay." I said. But suddenly she passed out. This poor girl is lonely. Her unwanted past is bugging her. Its not safe in her apartment. I have no other options. I'll bring her to my apartment.

Third Person's PoV

Bryan walked towards to his apartment. But suddenly Alex run towards him.

"What the hell happen?!" She gasped.

"It the best if she's the one to tell you." Bryan said.

They got in his apartment. He laid Kath in his bed. He search for the bandages.

"I hope Allyssa and Japhet are dating!" Alex said happily, only getting a weird look from Bryan.
