A Bird's trust

A bird doesn't sit on a branch
Trusting that the branch won't break
Rather it trusts it's ability
To simply fly when it does.
Despite it's long secure wings,
It often settles down,
And seeks comfort on shaggy branches.
For a bird that is on constant flight mode
Often misses the best view;
Like how the world quiets down
To the beauty of the rising sun.
Even through even winds
It holds on dearly.
Even on the lonely nights,
When everything feels cold and unsettling,
It waits calming for it knows
There is always beauty after the quiet pain.
For even if the branch to break
Pulling the ground from under it's feet;
It knew it could fly away to some place new.
A bird trust was never on the branch
But in it's a ability to start a new.
