Jade's POV
After the morning classes, Sonia and I went in the school cafeteria to have lunch. As we both lined up to order, I decided to go for the usual. I am used to having some greens and vegetable salad for lunch but looking on the options I realized that I wont be having any of it so I ended up ordering some spaghetti and a two piece sandwich while Sonia ordered a cup of rice and a bowl of noodles.
Dad told me that filipinos are very fond of eating carbohydrates and that they would literally eat rice in every single meal. They would even eat carbs on carbs and I just recently realized that spaghetti and bread can be such a delicious pair.
Grabbing my meal tray, I followed Sonia as she lead me onto a vacant table at the corner of the cafeteria.
"What are those?" I asked her pointing at something with my eyes as I took a seat across her at the table.
"Ah, ito ba?" She said placing her palms on top of a pile of papers beside her meal tray. "mga flyers "she continued.
"For what?" I asked, swirling my spaghetti before putting it in between my sandwiches like a spread.
"eh kasi, were searching for new members to join our club. All of my club mates are asked to give these flyers to invite students to come and audition for the upcoming Musical Show. "she answered as she handed me copy of it.

"Your'e in a school Musical?" She nodded. "Thats awesome!" I told her and she gave me a shy smile.
" uhmm, It's not what you think Jade" she said, "I don't perform on stage, thats a different group. I belong to the creative group, we do the props, costumes and advertisement materials." She continued.
"Well hey, a musical is boring without the props and stuffs right? " I smiled at her, hoping that I didn't sound pathetic. "but don't you want to perform on stage?" I asked.
