Tyler's POV
After the big show earlier, Jade and I joined the rest of the club members down the stage. I went over to Marco while jade went to Sonia in the corner seat.
I looked at Marco and I see a look of anticipation in his eyes. Like he was going to drop a huge bomb in front of me and I can just see it coming.
"What was that bro?" Marco cried out loud as I was approaching him. "What - was - that??" he shouted, emphasizing every word and making a few students turn towards me.
"Just sticking to the plan bro." I said softly as I tried to hide the embarrassment from the generous attention.
I am certain that these students know me already. The look in their faces screams 'What does a Tyler Rodriguez doing here?' sort of way.
I'm not worried about that actually. What concerned me was how Marco would react. Let's just say he goes over the top sometimes.
"Grabeh may pa gunun ganun ka pang nalalaman!" he said as he did some funny moves.
He was mimicking me. Every single move he can possibly imagine.
First of all, I don't dance like that.
Second, I don't remember dancing.
And if I did, it definitely wasn't like that at all!
"Okay that's an exaggeration." I said, pointing at his twerking butt. "That's definitely not what I did." I said trying to save my self from humiliation.
"Tapos may paganito pa!" he continued as he went from twerking to wiggling.
"Okay stop! you're embarrassing me bro." I said to him while I made an eye gesture at him pointing out to the girls beside us who are looking at me.
Marco may be my best friend, but sometimes he forgets I have an image to protect. Especially in front of girls.
I turned towards the three girls beside me and winked at them. Hoping that Marco didn't put a dent on my reputable image. But their giggling reaction was satisfying.
"just kidding!" he chuckled.
"But seriously, you were great bro!"
I rolled my eyes at him and let out a shy grin.
"I know... I know" I smuged.
Marco smiled at me and grined. It wasn't one that seemed playful and annoying. It was genuine, which is so not typically him though.
"You know what bro," He said looking serious. " you awe me big time."
"For what?" I chuckled.
"For my brilliant idea." he smuged. "If you sing like that during the show, I'm sure Bree would think twice on why she ever dumped you." he laughed.
"Yeah, I awe you big time. Thanks a lot by the way." I said sarcastically and let out a small laugh and smiled at him.
"And you would have had forgotten that you had a passion for singing." he blurted out and from a smile, I sighed.
"I never really wanted to bro." I said. " But I't wan't convenient anymore."
"wasn't convinient?" He raised his voice and chuckled. "do you even realize how good you sounded bro?, and that song..." he paused. "I connot even think of a better song." he said. "was that an original?" he asked.
I laughed at him.
"It was jade's song but I did some adlib, so yeah." I told him. "It really was a great song. "
