Jade's POV

Cringggggg!

The bell rang, it's dismissal time and all of my classmates went hurriedly out of the room. They are all probably excited for the club registrations that are happening downstairs at the school lobby.

As I went out of the room, I was invited into a quiet hallway and walked physically blank but mentally thinking about the auditions. I just couldn't get it off my mind and I have been thinking about it during the entire afternoon class.

As I was walking down the hallway, I was pretty determined to go home but with all the audition thing going on in my mind, I didn't realized until I snapped myself back to reality that I was already standing outside the CFPA.

I saw a quite number of students lining up outside it's side doors and decided to take the back entrance instead.

I felt a little nervous when I  saw the two massive glass doors located at the back of the theatre. I went inside and the very first thing that I must have said was "Wow! This place is...Wow!" and the stage?, It-is-huge! and I could just feel my mouth flung open at the sight of it.

After I regained my composure, I moved slowly and quietly in order for them not to notice me then I took a seat somewhere distant and hidden from where everyone were. I sat comfortably on one of the theatre's blue leathered chairs as I waited for the auditions to start. Minutes later, a woman, whom I think is in her late 50's, stepped onto the stage.

"Welcome to the Center For Performing Arts or the CFPA. My name is Doris Sevilla and I am your Music Instructor and Stage Director. " she said. "We already know why we are all here. Some of you could be performing on this very stage and in front of the entire student body, well that of course if you can pass today's audition. " she said as she made her way at the piano side and took the piece of paper on top of it. "I have here a list of all the names who have signed up for the audition. I will be calling you one by one to come up here on stage and do what you came here to do. I am expecting that you have already made arrangements with the band and I am not gonna waste anytime for any delays and foul plays. Are we clear? "

"Yes Mrs. Sevilla" everyone replied and I could just feel the tension building up inside the room, not to mention the nerves of the students that are evident in their faces even from a distance.

"Let's start off with... Maria." She announced and a shy girl went on stage.  With a quick hand signal, the band started playing one of Celine Dion's powerful ballad song, My Heart Will Go On.

Maria started singing and everyone were just so thrilled about her voice when she got into the middle of the song, everything just bursted out off her.

"Your here
theres nothing I fear
and I know that
my heart will go on... "

She sang so beautifully and very heartfelt that it almost felt like watching Jack and Rose battle for love and survival during last moments of Titanic.

"We'll stay
together this way
you are safe in my heart and
my heart will go on and on..."

Everyone erupted into cheers.  What a way to start a show. She's definitely is the one to beat. Theres no way I could tap that. Bravo to her!

"Very well done, thank you Maria. " said Mrs. Sevilla. She didn't took another second wasted and called the next name on the list. "Danielle, your next. " she announced then a girl with a dark brown hair went up on stage and after making a signal to the band she started singing.
