Blaire’s POV.

I was attempting to fix my hair within the limited space in Natalie’s car. She had practically yelled at her Mom to go home so we can change into something, well, more party-ish.

“Ugh” I said, trying to finger comb my hair.

“Relax, I bet he’s going to like you anyway.” Natalie teased.

I rolled my eyes at her.

We were on the way to the beach for Cody’s after party. His music was blasting in Nat’s radio (we bought this CD which was being sold outside the concert arena before we left the venue).

“OH OH! RIGHT NOW I JUST WISH YOU WERE HERE!” Natalie yelled. Not sing, yell.

“Nat!” I shushed her. My eyes still watching myself in the car’s rearview mirror.

“Stop trying to look pretty, come on”

“Said the girl who had enough time to fix herself.”

“Ugh not my fault!”

Natalie had changed in literally 10 seconds once we went in her room earlier. I still had to pick a dress to borrow from her, since I did not pack any “party” clothes because I did not know we were going to end up like this tonight.

“You look fine.” She told me. “EEEEEEEEEEPP! WE’RE HEEEERRREE!!”

Her squeal had signaled that the beach was in view. There was huge tent with guards standing everywhere. Tons of fans were outside, probably waiting for Cody or trying to get in the party.

“Um…..are there passes or anything because I’m pretty sure you didn’t give me one.” Natalie asked.

I shook my head. “We’ll just see if we can get in. If we can’t, then that’s Cody’s lost because I’m going straight home.”

“You give up too easily.” she replied and got out of the car.

“Thanks Mrs. Parker” I said to  her who was sitting in the driver’s seat, then went out and followed Natalie into the beach grounds.

“I hear the music! The party’s starting! And I’m ready!” Natalie sing-songed while skipping to the tent. Ladies and gentlemen, my bestfriend.

We neared the tent and I could see a barricade over at the entrance of the tent and a huge man standing. Security, I thought. The fans were screaming Cody’s name and trying to get past the tall steel bars.

“Riot.” I mumbled.

“Come on” Natalie pulled me and we tried to squeeze to the front.

GUESS WHO WE SAW.

“Come on! He knows me! I bet I met him more than any of these girls in her!” whined the high pitch voice.

It belonged to the girl in school. The one I had an argument with over the stupid poster of Cody on the post.

We walked near her and she saw us.

“What are you losers doing here?” and she turned to me “I thought you HATED Cody Simpson?”

I knew what she was doing. She knew I would be mobbed once people knew I was a hater.

“I never said I hated him.” I snapped back at her.

She rolled her eyes at me. “Whatever. But what are you doing here? Trying to score an entrance?” she scoffed. “Impossible.”

“HA. And you did?” I chuckled. “Aren’t you still here? Outside? NOWHERE NEAR CODY?”
