"Bavverissi?" Amber asks.
"Yes. It's quite a bit away from here. If we ever get out, I'll take you guys there." I respond calmly.
"Did they hit you when they took you, Kena?" Collin asks. I laugh.
"Yes. But that's not why I'm saying this. Don't worry about me, it's all true. I'm just worried about you guys. This place is a mad house." I say looking at all of them.
"We'll be fine. We just gotta get out of this place." Abriella says. We all nod. I swim over to my old mirror and desk. I grab squid ink, a shark tooth and some old paper and start coming up with ideas on how we could leave.
"Oh! Could we trick them?" Collin asks.
"Tried it. Any other ideas?" I ask.
"I know! We could wait till they take us somewhere and break out. Abriella and I already did it once." Amber says, turning to Abriella.
"That's a good idea. It might just work. We could take him to my kingdom and lead him the wrong way. I figured out how to track myself back to my kingdom from anywhere." I write down the idea.
"Footsteps." Amber says. I nod and stuff the things in one of the empty drawers and we all swim to the surface.
"So where's my prize." I hear Rafe say from afar.
"Far, far away from the burning pit you're going to!" I growl.
"So. The princess did find her mate after all." Rafe says as he walks in. He inspects Collin. I swim in front of him.
"Yes. And there's nothing you can do to separate us." Collin says, wrapping his arms around me. I smile at up at Collin.
"Nothing, Rafe. It's over." I announce sternly.
"You ignorant princess. You have no idea who you're dealing with." He says angrily. He waves his hand and Collin raises out of the water, taking me with him.
"Kena!" Amber and Abriella shout.
"I'll be fine! Just dive under and swim to the bottom!" I order back. They nod and dive under. "What do you want, Rafe? I know for a fact you're not going to hurt me because I'm your only ticket out of this hole."
"You're right. I'm not. You mean to much. So instead I'm going to do this." He waves his other hand and Collin starts drifting away from me, still mid air.
"Collin!" I yell. I reach my hand out for his and take it. I whisper a few words and let go. "I'm sorry." I whisper to him. I start falling to the water. I hit the water really hard.
"Kena! Are you ok!?" Amber asks swimming to me.
"Where's Collin?" Abriella asks. I burst out in tears and hug them as tight as I can.
"He took Collin! That monster took Collin!" I say through the tear bubbles and heavy breaths.
"I'm so sorry, Kena... I have no idea what to say...." Amber says. I pull away.
"I do. I have five words. We're. Getting. Out. Of. Here." I say angrily.
"Yes!" They both shout.
**Collin's POV**
"I'm sorry." I hear Kena whisper and drop my hand.
"Kena! I will come back!" I wanted to yell. I didn't want to make a promise I couldn't keep. I see her fall back into the water that's about thirty feet below her.
She curls into a ball and hits the water. I can only float and watch her.
I wonder how she's feeling. I wonder what she's thinking. I wonder if her perfect blue eyes are filled with tears. So many questions race through my mind about her.
**A.N.** Did you like the Collin POV? I thought it'd be a nice twist.
