Rafe dumps me in the water of my cave. My tears turn the air as I am thrown.

"You're evil!" I say when I come up.

"I know, Puppet. It's my DNA." He smirks. I glare at him. "I hate to see your pretty smile gone."

"Yeah right! If you love to see my pretty smile so much then why not make me feel special?" I lead on. He leans in and I slap him. I smile. "Here's your pretty smile, Master." I tease. I laugh and flip farther away from him.

"You will pay for that eventually." He growls. "Find her Collin!" He yells. I gasp.

"No! No please! I'll do anything you want just... don't hurt him... please!" I beg, swimming back to the edge.

"I love to hear you beg. Do it again and he might survive." He smirks at me and grabs my chin and pulls it up towards him. "Well? I'm waiting, Puppet."

I look at him desperately. "Please, don't hurt him. I'll do anything just don't hurt him. Please." I beg. Slow sorrowful tears streaking down my face.

"That's just what I like to hear." He says, smiling. "Hault the search for Collin! Get Iscarus!" He orders. Two of his servants nod and scurry off. "Your first order is to help me rule your kingdom." He whispers.

"They don't even know I'm the princess! How will they trust me with a kingdom!" I say through tight teeth.

"Taken care of. All you need to do is sit, look pretty and follow the orders of your king." He says, releasing my chin.

"And who is this king you speak of?" I ask, teeth still tight.

"Iscarus, of course. My orders will be given to you through him, he will be keeping a close eye to make sure you follow my every command." He says. I growl and swim away. I spend time under the surface, where my "bedroom" is. I also have one on the sand but I prefer the one underwater when I'm a mermaid.

I grab my homemade coral comb and brush through my hair repeatedly. My sticks and floats in the water. If only it looked this perfect above water.

Ahh, you look lovely, my princess. I hear Iscarus say in my head.

Just go away, Iscarus. Unless you're here to set me free. I reply angrily. I turn around and look at him.

Sadly I can not set such a beauty free. He says, stroking my cheek. I smack it away.

Not interested! I say sternly. I only acted in such a manner because I was under Rafe's control! I can feel the waves on the surface pick up.

Alright! Hint taken! He yells, being frothed around. I calm down and the waves stop. Thanks. He says politely.

How old are you anyway? I ask.

17. Now we have to go. He says gripping my wrists like Rafe did that first did.

No! I yell. I use the currents against him and pull him off. I rub my wrists and make the current hold him. I will not leave with you! If I am to leave it will be at my own will! I spiral him out of the water and let him fall. I grab the sharpest shell I can find.

He falls back in and hits the surface hard. Take one more flick and this shell won't be the only thing that is red! I threaten. He puts his hands up in defeat. I wrap his hands in tight kelp.

Rafe will find out! He growls.

Says who? I ask innocently. Now tell me how to get out of here. I order.

Never you stubborn merl! He replies sharply.

You wanna go? It'd be a real shame to stain this pretty shell with your pretty self, now wouldn't it? He looks scared as I toss the shell a few times.

Alright, alright! There is a hidden lever hidden in that rock. He points to a huge rock over by my "bed". I smile and swim over as quick as possible. I dig around the rock and crack. I try and lift the crack only to find a lever. My smile widens. I pull it towards me and I hear the cave entrance roll up.

I'm about to leave when something interupts me. Take me with you, Kena! Iscarus says hurriedly. I turn around.

What? Aren't you his loving servant? I ask, confused.

No! He captured me and forced me to work for him! I want out! He defends.

Fine. I swim over to him and untie his kelp. I take his hand and lead him out.
