Chapter 14

Jc entered my room while I was sitting on my bed reading a book. I was surprised to see him. He closed the door behind him and looked up to meet my gaze. I stood up, questioning his behaviour. He sighed and finally spoke, "I am not myself at this moment." "I've noticed. What's going on, you're scaring me.." I said stepping closer towards him. "Oh I wished I knew. I just have this aching feeling." He said obviously struggling. I stopped walking, "okay, well explain." He looked down to the ground and shook his head, "I can't. I can't put it in words." I touched his cheek as a reassuring gesture but he snapped his head up and now all I could see was pain and confusion.

I thought for a while, "close your eyes." He did as I said hesitating. "Good, now do you remember what you did to help me when I wanted to clear my thoughts one night ?" I saw him thinking, but soon he knew what I was getting to. I placed my hands on both his cheeks and leaned forward to kiss him gently on the lips. I felt lust building up, hunger and eager to love. I wanted more, he wanted more I felt it. A quivering breath escaped my lips. Right after it hit his face he grunted and grasped my thighs and picked me up from the ground with ease. He pulled me close while connecting our lips again but this time rough and passionate at the same time. I crossed my legs around him tugging his hair. He moved down to kiss my neck while pushing me up against the wall and grinding his hips to mine. I moaned as he seemed to like it, I had to bite my lip to keep myself from screaming. I felt he was getting aroused as he pulled me back from the wall, turned around to the bed and threw me on it, making sure I fell soft though. I sat back on my elbows watching him as he took off his shirt throwing it away on the ground. He smirked and crawled towards me eventually hovering over me. He grabbed my palms and pushed them down onto the sheets. I closed my eyes as he started kissing me on the lips slowly moving down leaving little spots of kisses filled with desire. He reached my neck once again, my weak spot, but this time skipped it and just brushed his lips briefly against it. He continued his way down to the beginning of my shirt. He looked up and I opened my eyes as he stopped, our eyes met. I stared and saw his mood and facial expression change. He suddenly sat up "Sorry I can't do this." I pulled him down again, "don't be silly, of course you can. I'm okay with it." He took my hands and slowly removed them, "Hailey I can't do this to you." This time I sat up too, "Why not ? You always do this, right." I said frowning. He looked confused, "what do you mean ?" I moved my face closer to his so our noses almost touched, "Michelle," His face dropped as soon as he heard her name. I continued crossing my arms, "she told me everything." He jumped off the bed, clenched his jaw, balled his fist while grabbing his shirt and stormed out the door.

A few minutes later I realised where he was actually heading to. Shit. As quickly as I could, I ran down the stairs grabbed my jacket, shoes and looked for my car keys. But I couldn't find them. "Fuck fuck no, why now." I whispered irritated under my breath. I pulled out all the drawers of the desk I've put them on. Eventually I found them and ran as quickly as I could to my car.

I drove down her street and saw Jc standing outside yelling across the street at Michelle who stood in her doorway. I parked my car on the side and got out. "Jc stop, what are you doing ?!" They both turned their heads at my voice. "Hailey god thank you're okay !" Michelle sighed. Jc clearly rolled his eyes at her statement, "I thought I made myself perfectly clear you couldn't tell anyone." Michelles expression turned angry and turned her head to Jc "You did. But you would seriously think I would let you hurt Hailey ?! Well you're wrong, because unlike you, I do care." "I wasn't going to hurt her !" He yelled. Michelle crossed her arms and rolled her eyes, "Yeah sure, just like you wouldn't hurt all those other girls." I don't understand why I'm still watching this argument, this has to stop. "Seriously you guys, just stop this isn't going anywhere ! The only person you are hurting is yourself." There finally was a silence, although it didn't last very long. "You know nothing about me, so stop pretending like you do !" Jc yelled frustrated. "Oh I'm pretty sure I do, you're not that complicated." Michelle replied in an arrogant way remaining fearless. "Seriously what is wrong with you guys ?!" Now I'm the one getting frustrated. I created this, kind of, now I have to stop this. Jc began walking closer to Michelle, I knew what he was capable of so I quickly made my way up to and stood in front of her. I hate seeing Jc like this, although I want him to realise what he did and just take responsibility for it. Jc looked at me, more furious than ever. "You know what, I am so done with you Jc," Michelle said from behind my back as she grabbed my arm and pulled me with her, "And so is Hailey." "Whatever I don't care, right." He grunted as he began walking away. "No wait, I'm not done." Michelle looked at me, hurt, almost as if I betrayed her. Jc then stopped and looked at me as well. Michelle let go of my arm and crossed her arms waiting for me to talk. "What do y-" I interrupted Jc, "I would like to know the reason why you took or take the virginity of innocent girls who fell in love with you." I crossed my arms as well as if demanding my answer. "I..I, don't k-" he spoke softly before I interrupted him again, "and why do you like this image of you being 'the bad boy' and beating guys up.. Is there any possible reason because I can't seem to find it." He just looks dumbfounded at me. So I continued to speak, "Or is it maybe because you like being in control or the fact that this way no one can hurt you ? Is it because you never experienced love and this way you can hurt people mentally and physically so they can feel your pain. Do I need to continue ?" He clenched his jaw, "maybe you're right, maybe those are the reasons. But there is one thing you were wrong about," He sighed before continuing, "remember earlier I said I had an aching feeling ? Well I never knew that experiencing love for the first time could hurt." He looked me directly in the eyes. The moment those words left his lips a shiver went down my spine. Did he just confess his love to me ? For a moment it felt like I couldn't breathe. Did he really meant it, or is he just fucking up my mind ? "I.. I don't know what to say.. Are you serious ?" I spoke, but the words came out more like a whisper. He didn't look at me, instead he just walked away to his car. Michelle started tugging at my clothes, "Come on, he's no good for you anyway." For some reason my eyes became watery and my sight got blurred. But then something in me clicked, I love him too. At first I thought I only wanted his attention, but now I know I want him, I need him. "Wait." I whispered, probably too soft. "What ?" Michelle couldn't hear me, I spoke louder this time, "Wait !" Jc turned his head at my sudden outburst while he reached his car. I began running towards him not looking anywhere but him, his eyes widen while stretching out his arms. "HAILEY WATCH OUT !" Michelle and Jc both screamed in chore. I saw lights coming towards me and then everything became black.

JC'S POV ~

I couldn't believe my eyes. Right in front of me Hailey was hit by a car, I was completely and in utterly shock. A rush of guilt travelled inside my body and a lack of questioning, because why did she ran to me ? Did she wanted to say or ask something ? As I finally came to my senses I ran over to her body just like Michelle. Her face looked pale probably mine too. I didn't know what to do everything happened so fast. But as I saw the person stepping out of the car my face became suddenly red with anger, I couldn't believe who dared to show his face from behind his car..
