Hailey's pov ~

It was around 10;30 p.m right now and I was sitting behind my laptop as usual. It was really quiet in my room till I heard some noice coming from outside. I walked to my window, opened it and looked down to see none other than Jc standing there. "Why are you under my window ?" I yelled whispering. "Why do you think ?" He said smirking. "Don't tell me you're here to pick me up or something." I pleased. He said nothing, he just stood there and chuckled. "Jc, it's still a normal school night." I said, disagreeing his idea. "I know, but come on. I want to show you something." He said with flickering eyes. "I don't know.." I said hesitating. "Do you want me to come and get you ?" He asked grinning. "No ! Fine I'll come, wait there." I quickly said and closed the window. I threw my grey jogging pants and a brown sweater on and headed out the door.

I walked, as quiet as possible, out the door to Jc. He stood there with a smirk on his face, "nice outfit." I glared at him, "shut up." I crossed my arms and walked over to his car. "Unlock the door please." I stated. "We're not going with the car baby." He said with a grin. My face formed into a confused expression. "We are going to walk." He finished. "Where to ?" I asked. "You will see." He said as he walked over to me and handed me his hand. I looked at it and then at him, "No thanks." I said as I began walking. "But you forgave me." He said catching up with me. "Well, you persuaded me to." I exclaimed. He chuckled, "so I guess you're still angry at me." "I just can't get the picture out of my head, you kissing another girl." I admitted. "Are you jealous ?" He asked amused. "Were you jealous ?" I asked returning the question. He looked at me weird probably not understanding why I said that. "When I kissed jake." I said. I saw how he clenched his jaw, "I'm never jealous." I chuckled because I knew he lied, I could see it from his body language.

I noticed how we walked pretty far and I was getting really curious where he was taking me, "Where are we exactly heading to ?" I looked around and just saw we were near an open grass field. He didn't say anything so I looked at him. He just smirked and kept walking. "Can't you just tell me." I begged. "Can't you just shut up." He laughed. I stopped walking, he turned around to look what I was doing. I crossed my arms, "make me." He smirked and stood in front of me. "I'd love to." He whispered in my ear before cupping my cheeks. He gently pushed his lips against mine. He let go of my face and grabbed my hands. He laid them in his neck and then put his hands on my hips. I bit his lower lip while he smiled. He then pulled my body closer to his. The kiss was getting more passionately, but he pulled away and let go of me. Making me almost fall forward, because I was craving for more. I opened my eyes and when I did, Jc was smirking at me, "you want me don't you ?" I huffed while smiling and walked passed him.

He started walking beside me and grabbed my hand. It was actually really nice because my hands were cold and his were extremely warm. But somewhere it felt strange because I really liked the badboy act of him.

We walked passed the grass field till I saw some people, I didn't noticed them because they were too far away. Jc tightend his grib on my hand, I think he saw them too. "Do you think you know those guys ?" I said looking at him. "I don't know, maybe..", He let go of my hand, "wait here." First I wanted to go with him, but instead I waited. It was hard to see but it seemed that he knew one of them. The other one came walking my way, I didn't know what to do so I just stood still. But soon I noticed who it was and my eyes widened, "you have got to be kidding me.." I looked him over from head to toe with a smile from ear to ear and hugged him "What are you doing here Brandon ?" He hugged me back and chuckled. "I came here for good ol' times." Brandon; Blue eyes. dark blonde hair, in a quive style. Dark jeans, blue sweater and some blue vans on. My friend from years ago, we used to came here on the grass field to watch the stars, but when we started high school he moved away. We lost contact and it was sad, but time healed the emptiness he had left and I got new friends like Michelle. "Why didn't you call me or something." I asked a little hurt but covered it with a week smile. "I was planning to, I mean, I just came here." There was a silence. I still couldn't believe he was here after a pretty long time. "But we're together now right ? So it doesn't matter." He said with a comforting smile. I nodded and hugged him again, only to whisper that I missed him.

Jc's pov ~

I turned around to see what Hailey was doing while I was talking to some dude from my class. She was apearently hugging with some guy. Great. Anger and betrayal boiled inside me, but I tried to remain calm bacause there was no reason to be angry about. I walked over to her with a straight face "who's your friend ?" I didn't even care to sound friendly. She tensed up when she heared the sound of my voice and somehow I loved it. "Jc this is Brandon, Brandon meet Jc." She said looking between the two of us. "Hi", he reached out to shake my hand, but I didn't bothered to shake it. "Sup." He awkwardly put his hand to his side and shrugged. Hailey spoke up, "Brandon is an old friend of mine, he came here to visit." She had this little sparkle inside of her eyes that I did not like. "How nice." I said putting up a fake smile. Hailey saw it and shoved me a little, it won't change my additude if she thinks so. She turned to Brandon, "Jc is.." She was obviously struggling to find the right words to describe me as, so I decided to help her a little, "her crush, where she is absolutely in love with." I finished her sentence as I winked. She looked at me gawking, "I do not. And he isn't my crush." Brandon chuckled, "look, I don't think I have to know what's going on between you guys. But I have to get to the hotel I'm staying at." He looked at Hailey and continued, "I'll hit you up later Hail." He winked at her and walked to his friend who was waiting by his car. She smiled and I rolled my eyes. "What a douche." I mumbled as I walked away. Hailey made her way up to me, "I heard that. You're just jealous because I have male friends who are nicer than you who I can give hugs because I missed them." I didn't gave her a single look. "I told you earlier, I'm never jealous." She huffed "Keep telling yourself that." I rolled my eyes and walked faster. "Wait, so you're just going to walk home." She said but I didn't responded. She sighed, "are you really gonna ignore me ?" I still remained a straight face as I kept walking. "Fine, I don't care." She said as she began walking slower. "Screw you." She mumbled but loud enough for me to hear.

We were almost at her house, just two streets ahead. The not so long way back, we didn't talk. I didn't know how to act or what to think, so I felt kinda numb. I finally reached her house but Hailey walked pretty far behind me, so i decided to wait against my car. When she finally arrived too, she walked straight to her door. I quickly run after her and pulled her to stop. She turned around "Oh so now you're gonna say something ? Guess what, I don't wanna hear it."

My hands gripped her fingers as I held them tighter then ever because I knew the end was close and I knew that she would disappear, I think as long as Brandon is here she won't be the same. So somehow I gripped her fingers just to know she was still here. I gave her a kiss on her lips and went to sit in my car. I watched as she entered her house with full confusion. I thought about it for a while and came to a conclusion that I needed a distraction. I started the car and drove away.
