Today is friday, one day before Lauren's party. I was curious to know what would happen. I mean, everything can happen. It's a party.

I just closed my locker and headed to class, when Jake came walking beside me, "Hey Hailey." "Jake.. Hi." I replied. "How's it going ?" He continued, trying to make a conversation. "I'm doing great, you ?" I put on a friendly smile. "Same." He answered. "So, I bet you are going to the party." I said, knowing the answer. "Yeah, you too right ?" I nodded. We walked in silence, when he shoot me a spontanious question, "are you sure you and Jc aren't dating or something ? I mean, I see you guys are getting pretty close.." What the hell is that supposed to mean ? "I.. I don't know." I really didn't know. We're not really dating so I couldn't say yes, though I couldn't say no eighter because we are close.. "You don't know ?" He asked confused, I shook my head. He was about to say something when Jc same up behind me. Yay. I could feel the dead glare Jc was giving Jake. "I'll see you around." He said as I gave him an apologising look. He walked away and as soon as he left Jc grabbed me by my waist, "What was that about ?" "Why do you care ?" I coldly stated. "Because you are with me !" He growled. "Am I Jc, Am I really ? Are you saying that we're dating ? Because I really don't know !" I growled back. He looked anywhere but me. "I don't freaking get it ! I don't even know if you love me or not." I said with tears forming in my eyes. He looked at me with pure anger in his eyes, I thought he was gonna punch me or something but instead, he did something unexpected. He crashed his lips onto mine and grabbed my face. I didn't kiss nor pulled back. He let go and gave me one more look before walking away and calling after me, "just know that you are mine !" I rolled my eyes and walked the other direction, to my class, where Michelle was waiting for me outside the door. "What happened to you ?" She asked as she noticed my watery eyes and glowing lips. "Jake and Jc, that happened." I walked passed her and sat down in my seat.  

As I was walking with Michelle, the words of Jc kept repeading in my head "Just know that you are mine.." Who does he think he is ? I'm not an object, he doesn't own me. All I wanted to know is if we're dating or not, but clearly he can't answer that question too. Michelle clapped her hands right in front of my face, which snapped me out of my thoughts. "Seriously Hail, what's going on with you lately ?" She asked. "What do you mean ?" I knew exactly what she meant. "I don't know.. It's just, since the time you and Jc started, you know, 'hanging out'.. You became more detached and thoughtful." I looked at the ground. "I don't want to lose you, you know." She finished. "You're not," I looked at her "how about we go to my house after school and eat and talk and shit ?" I gave her a hopefull look. "Sure !" She put on a giant smile.

So as we agreed, we sat in my room with lots of food, updating each others lifes. When suddenly she looked at me with big eyes. "What, is there something on my face ?" I asked. She shook her head, "no, on your neck. Is that a hicky? What happend ?" I quickly put my hand over the spot. Shit I totally forgot about it! "It's nothing.." I said with a fake smile. "Yes it is, let me see it !" She said as she removed my hand and studied the spot. She face palmed herself and looked up at me, "did Jc gave it to you ?" I looked to the side, "Maybe.." She raised an eyebrow. "But it's not like we did anything." I offended myself. "Yeah, sure.." She said as she rolled her eyes. "I swear !" I almost screamed. She looked at me thoughtfull then finally said something, "pinky promise ?" I sighed and hooked our pinky's "Pinky promise." 

Her phone went off, which meant she received a text message. "Shouldn't you read the text ?" I asked confused, because she never ignored one. "I'm pretty sure it's from Kevin." She said as she huffed. "Yeah, so ?" I said. "You know that I kissed him yesterday ?" She began. "Yess.." "Well, since then he didn't talked to me nor made eye contact." She finished. "What the hell ?! Do you know why ?" I asked. I know he was all shy and stuff but this is just weird. "I think I'm about to find out." She said as she grabbed her phone.
