Violet was curious to say the least.
'Why did Luke care about her forgiving him so much and why wouldn't he leave her alone' were the questions that pondered her mind.
Maybe he was just a kind person and felt bad about it but deep down she knew that couldn't be it. Or maybe she just wasn't used of people being nice to her. It had been a while for Violet.
She thought maybe once she sat down had a drink with Luke his grace of 'helping' Violet would be fulfilled and she could just be on her way.
Just as she's about to go look for Luke herself, he comes back plopping o close to Violet on the old and tore up piece of leather.
"Thanks." she mumbles half of her response being mumbled by the cold glass being pushed to her full lips.
"Yeah, yeah." He replied doing the same with his glass.
He drank the alcohol in one gulp making, his face changing is it stings down his throat.
"This is quite boring." Violet says watching borely as she watched the burning liquid swish around in the old chipped glass. "Are you bored?" She questioned slurring her words slightly as Luke snapped his head towards her.
"Well your not exactly doing anything exciting." Luke retorted. she scoffs loudly.
"I can be exciting, see." as the words leave her mouth, she swallows the whole glass of the substance in one gulp as Luke watches intently.
"That's all you got? Wow." He rolls his eyes, she starts to retaliate back at him but he doesn't even notice what she's saying because he was too busy staring.
The way her full lips moved when she talked, they way her long eyelashes fluttered, the way her shirts rose up when she sat down revealing her long tan legs. Even with her shirt still stained with coffee which was slightly sticking out from her leather jacket that she zipped up to try to cover, which made her figure more tight, turning Luke on even more.
"Luke!" she exclaimed waving a hand in front of his face. his eyes widened at the action his eyes immediately snapping to meet hers, his heart suddenly beating rapidly. "Sorry, just got distracted. What were you saying?" he settled his chiseled jaw into his hand, staring boring into her eyes again.
'Damn she's hot'
"Forget it. Waiter!" She called loudly, she was beginning to get a bit tipsy now. The boy turning towards Violet walking her way asking what should would like.
"Four shots of..whatever your strongest is. And make it quick."
"I like a chick that knows what she wants." The waitress days and drops a wink at Violet, making Luke's jaw clench.
"And anything for you dude?" He questions Luke, not giving him the same flirtatious smile he showed off willingly to Violet.
"No I'm good thanks, now fuck off will you?" Luke says coldly not even giving him a second look. The waiter huffs turning around and heading towards the never ending shelves of drinks.
"So, Luke, what's a fellow Aussie doing in Brooklyn New York anyways? Mommy wouldn't get off your back?" she says in a baby voice pouting her lips, getting closer to Luke in the process.
"If you won't tell me why your here then why should I?" He asked running his hand through his tousled hair. Violet rolls her eyes, removing her hair out of the black elastic, shaking it through her fingers, only for it to be messily stacked on the tip of her head.
Luke couldn't get over how beautiful she was. All the others he referred to as 'hot' or 'sexy', but their faces were loaded with tons of make up, dyed streaky hair, and clothes barely covering themselves that being the only reason anyone liked them, maybe.
But Violet, didn't. Only her long thick eyelashes and defined eyebrows shaping her face. And her eyes were so..full of life. She was the most real girl he had ever met, and that's what he liked about Violet.
"We're not taking to me and I'm only asking you because you could be a serial killer for all I know, and this could just be part of your trap." Just as she finishes, the very flirty waiter comes back with what Violet had requested, but not leaving until he slowly slid a napkin across the table, getting to close to Violet for Luke's liking.
By the time he walked away, Violet had downed half of the shots, not even noticing the napkin written with the waiters, what Luke had assumed, number written.
He grabbed it swiftly, without her noticing dropping it in the bin next to him.
'Dick.'
"Baby, I can assure you now that I'm not a serial killer. Are you sure you'll be okay, you've had a whole cup of whisky and whatever the hell that guy put in those four shots in less than 20 minutes." he said leaning on the couch so he could have a better look at her.
"If I'm not paying for them what's the big deal? I've had way to many hangovers to even count, and besides I'm accepting this as your apology." she raised that last shot to her mouth, tilting her head back, allowing some hair to fall from the top of her head, which Luke immediately tucked it behind her ear, again just to feel her soft skin.
"Whatever you say, baby..whatever you say."
