"C'mon I said I was sorry."
He says once again. She began to be annoyed with the boy, and figured if she didn't say anything back, he'd just leave."At least let me buy you another shirt." he offered."I think you've helped me enough, but thanks for the offer." she said bitterly. "Now buzz off."
"Not yet baby, I can't let you go just yet."
he stopped and so did she.
"Yeah and whys that?" She raised a brow at him. wen she didn't get a reply she kept moving along and he quickly followed.
"For one, I don't even know your name and you don't know mine and two Itwas my fault I spilled my drink on you I have to make up for if somehow..?" He basically pleaded.
He really did want to know the girls name but not for the right reasons. He was just used to girls throwing themselves at him, and now that one is actually resisting him it only makes him want her more each second.
"I'm Luke." He decided to say.
"Great now buzz off. I have things to do and places to be."
"Yeah and what might that be?" He retorted as they both stopped at the end of the side walk, waiting to cross the street.
She whipped her head around, looking at Luke with a distinct look on her angelic face.
he just wanted to-
"You really want to know don't you?" She questioned.
"just curious." He replied with a shrug of his broad shoulders.
"Violet." she states readjusting the back pack again. "What?"
"Violet. It's my name."
It suited her. Not that she was covered in the color, but he had never met a girl with such a special name. Not that he actually remembered any of them anyways. It was mysteriously suiting to her specifically, because she was mysterious.
"You don't get out much do ya Violet?" he says as they begin to walk across the busy street.
"What makes you say that Lucas?" he froze at the nick name. He couldn't help but the light yet manly butterflies he felt inside.
"Something wrong?" She asked with a slight giggle, her Australian accent sounding very thick.
"N-no. Uh, it's just you don't seem to have much people skills. I mean usually when someone accidentally spills coffee on the other person and they offer to make up for it, a normal person would say okay and allow them to do it. But you ,Violet, insisted that I Luke Hemmings to leave you alone, and sorry to say princess but I can't let you do that without my very much needed help." he smirked at her.
Even though she met him just a few moments ago, she already hated his guts. She could just slap the smirk off of Luke's face.
"I need to work on my people skills? Says the asshole who dumped his fucking coffee all over me! And I told you to stop it with the pet names."
"Where are you even going anyway?" he asks Violet, but she ignores him. She speeds up again and his long and lanky legs catch up to her quickly. "Violet.." He cooed to her and she ignored him yet again.
"Baby, come on." He lightly chuckled grabbing in to her bracelet covered wrist, tugging her small body to look towards him.
"Look here buddy, if I wanted you to know where I was going, I would've already told you, not that u would've told you anyways. So if all your is a one night stand or a girl to have sex with, find a fucking stripper Luke. You've got the wrong girl, and if you think for one seco-"
"Hey!" He called making her stop mid sentence, a scowl showing on her face.
Even though that was all he wanted from her, he knew he wasn't going to get it from her. She was a very..strong-willed. Luke caught on to that very quickly. He knew she was different, most girls just did whatever he asked if them with that sly smile of his and his oh-so sweet Australian accent.
Not Violet.
She wasn't looking to stay in Brooklyn long, just a run through.
"What?" She spit at him.
"I'm not trying to have sex with you." he shook his head, chuckling again. "Come on please let me make it up to you I feel horrible, I really do. Just follow me."
After staying at his pleading face she gave in and nodded. "Alright."

As they approached the bar in the distance he grabbed her hand, making her flinch a bit not expecting the sudden contact.
He didn't want to lose her in the sea of people inside, but he also just wanted a reason to touch her. "Don't let go." Luke whispered in her ear sending shivers down her spine. Violet gripped on to Luke's hand as they weaved further into the crowd, Luke searching for the thrown leather couch he knew is always there.
He had been here to many times. More than he had at the small diner sending girls on they're way. It was another 'step' to his process. But he figured it wouldn't go the same way as it did every other time a girl seemed to fall in his path, due to Violets hard headed personality.
This should be fun.
