Chapter 12 - Gets Worse

It was an unforgettable kiss. He still had me in his arms, and looked up then looked down to me and smiled.
Nick: "Will you be mine baby?"
He said it in a tired voice, I fell deep into his spell. Without thinking I said.. "Of fucking course" and kissed him.
He picked me up layed me to the grass. He then layed next to me.
Nick: "Shh just listen"
We stayed quiet for about 5 minutes I wasn't really sure what I was suppose to listen to exactly..
"Um Nick, what am I suppose to hear?" I whipered.
Nick: "I have no idea." He turned to me and starts laughing
"You're random" I said laughing
He sits next to me and holds my hand tightly.
I turned to him and admired his face, I can't believe what I got myself into, but I don't care. I don't care that Kimberly likes him, in fact I don't care about the probelms I'm going to have with other girls since they all like Nick. He caught me starring at him and smiled.
"So what was wrong? You looked terrified when you begged me to go on a walk with you" I said
Nick: "I was terrible but not anymore. I needed this, I needed you."
I hugged the side of his stomach, my face burried into his hoodie and his scent of cologne. "I'm here for you" I said. "Can I ask you something?"
Nick: "Ask away"

"Why were you so mad in the hospital room earlier?" I asked.

Nick: "Can we not-"

"Come onn.."

Nick: "talk about this pl-"

"Why?"

Nick: "ease I don't want to talk abou-"

"Just tell me-"

Nick: "LAYLA STOP"
He yelled so loud it scared me so I let go of him.
Nick: "I'm sorry, I'm trying to work on that... I'm sorry I'm really trying to be a better person"
"Its okay you just scared me" I said quietly
Nick: "I didn't mean to... (he takes a deep breathe) the reason why I got so angry was because... that man that um h-hurt you was um was was my dad"
