Chapter 33 - Just My Luck

Me and Chris finally get to the prison house, and go up to the desk. I told Chris to tell the lady we're Nick's cousins because they only let family see him.

Chris: "Uh hi, here to see Nick Mitchel. We, we're both his cousins."

Lady At Desk: "Very well, turn right and listen to intructions given from the police."

Me and Chris were about to go in the hall, but he turned back to the lady at the desk. He was really angry for some reason? He was driving really fast, and now he's stomping everytime he walks, and won't say a word to me.

Chris: "Actually, bail him out. I have the money."

I was shocked but happy! Actually, I'm anxious to know what's gonna happen.. Still, whats got into Chris that made him decide he'll bail out Nick himself?

"Chris?" I asked.
But he just ignored me.

Lady At Desk: "You do know he's in for murder, it's gonna cost you kid."

Chris: "How much?"

The lady kept telling Chris it's a lot of money, but Chris wouldn't take no for an answer. I needed to sit down, and relax for a moment. I sorta hope I don't end up seeing Nick, I don't think we're both ready to see each other after what happened the last time I visited.

The lady at the desk and Chris keep talking. I was just reading magizines.

Five minutes later I heard this short alarm noise come on, a door open, and a cop come out.

I stood up. The cop brings out Nick who's walking backwards and  waiting to get uncuffed from the cop. Nick still hasn't seen me.
I wanted to hide, I know Nick didn't want to see me! I couldn't help but just stand there and shake from nervousness... It was too late to hide, Nick saw me. I quickly turned away to avoid starring at him.

From the corner of my eye I see the cop talking to Nick, then leaving. I turn myself around and see Nick starring at me. He was sitting down where the cop told him too, after making eye contact with him for a few seconds he started making silly faces at me. They were cute, and funny faces he would make whenever we were together too. I did those faces back and he laughed. It was a sign that let me know we were still okay.

So I went for it, I was walking up to him ready to give him a big hug when suddenly Chris goes up to him and fucking punches Nick!

Chris: "YOU FUCKING BASTARD!" He yelled straight at Nick's face and pushes him against the way and punches him!

"WHAT THE FUCK CHRIS" I yelled trying to push Chris off of Nick.

But of course Nick had fought back..

Nick starts throwing punches at Chris also.

"NICK STOP! BOTH YOU GUYS STOP" I yelled! I couldn't believe what the fuck was happening!

I heard cops run and blow their whistles! They broke up the fight and took both of them away.
