Chapter 36 - Love Dies Or Lives?

Not sure why Nick chosed to go to the mall exactly, but it was far, so it was going to be a long car ride, and I loved that because it was only me and Nick, I just pretend the driver isn't even there.

"Why the mall dork?" I asked.

Nick: "I wanna buy you something nice." He shrugged his shoulder.

"Don't" I said smiling.

Nick: "I want too, and I will." he said looking at me straight in my face and getting closer then kissing me literally all over my face.

Nick: "And of course stuff for the little one." He says kissing my stomach too.

"I never thought I would ever see this sweet side of you!" I said with amazement.

Nick: "Ugh me either, it's just that when I'm with people who make me happy, I feel like I can be myself and show the good side of me ya know?"

"Yeah, and I love this side of you."
I said hugging him tightly.

Nick: "Hey I have a question"

"What is it?"

Nick: "What made you want to be with someone like me?" He asked while secretly lighting a cigarette.

"Well, I knew about you, you were known as the hot senior who I thought I would never have a chance with, so I didn't bother. Then came the day of the party, and when I saw you alone and drunk, I saw something, I saw your eyes wondering around then stopped and starred at my eyes. I've never felt more in love. I was curious and wanted to know more about you. Damn I'm glad I went back for you."

Nick: "I'm glad you did too. If it wasn't for you I would've...... hm.. I would've been bored."

"Thats it?"

Nick: "You know I love you, and our child. See how much can happen, with just a simple stare? I couldn't keep my eyes off of you that night"

"But you were drunk"

Nick: "Exactly even though I was drunk, I still saw you, and felt you."

"Whoa, that shows anything can happen in one day. Look at us now baby" I said cuffing my hands on his face

Nick couldn't stop starring at me and smiling, he was about to say something when I hear a car honk their horn.

I quickly turned and saw a car coming towards our car! I grabbed Nick's hand tightly then protecting my stomach with my other arm, and closed my eyes preparing to die.

I felt it, I felt the car crash, I remember letting go of Nick's hand seeing blood! A lot of it.

Few minutes passed, I woke up by hearing loud noises and finding myself laying down aside the street and lots people around me, they were all helping me.

I couldn't talk! I started crying and screaming at the same time the pain on my head was overwhelming I couldn't take it! And my baby! Is my baby still alive?

Lady: "Ma'm please stay calm, you and you're baby are going to be all right, we are going to take in the ambulance, stay calm."

I stopped shouting and screaming and tried moving my eyes around hoping to see Nick, but all I saw was the Taxi car flipped over, the other red car crushed, broken glasses, and blood on the floor.
