Chapter 23 - Truth And Suprises

! (Layla's Point Of View) !

I only slept for one hour, but that didn't stop me from going to where Nick was. I told my aunt to drop me off the store because the forest was a dangerous place and I knew she wouldn't let me go. I started walking to the woods, as I was about to call Nick, I see him sitting all alone doing nothing. I stepped on old leaves, which made a noise and he turns around.
Oh how much I missed his face, everything was so clear to me.
He looked really happy to see me, his cute smile said it all.
I ran up to him and jumped on him. We hugged really tight, I cried a lot.
Nick: "Why are you crying so much?"
"I missed you so much Nick" I said catching my breathe while crying.
Nick: "I missed you too Layla, I'll admit I was pretty pissed off with you, but I guess I was just heart broken - please please pleaaase don't ever leave me like that ever again!"
"Trust me I couldn't even if I tried" I said still hugging him tight.

We finally let go of each other and sat down next to each other.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.
Nick: "I just nee- fuck it, I'll tell you.. you gotta promise you won't leave me and that what I'm about to tell you is the past and we'll be able to move on."
"I promise.." I said unsure.
Nick: "After our little arguement, oh well whatever, I went to a party and uh I uh did lots of drugs (pauses for awhile and looks sad)"

"Thats it?" I said laughing in relief

Nick: "I.. hooked up with this chick, I forgot her name I don't think she mentioned it.. and I (starts crying and hides his face)"

My jaw dropped but seeing Nick cry made me forget about what he said and I just wanted to comfort him.

"Look Nick people get drunk, they hook up with the wrong person, and pretend to be okay, people act tough and get mad.. What I'm trying to say is people will do anything to distract their heart, they will do anything to distract it from missing someone." I said while comforting him but he just cried harder.

Nick: "I-"

I suddenly had that dizzy feeling again, but I wasn't going to faint, this time I wanted to throw up so I inturrpeted him and ran to a bush and threw up! I had this disgusted feeling I didn't want to be around anyone.

I started thinking forgetting Nick was running to me.... I've been having these dizzy feelings lately, my breasts were always in pain, I've been having weird cravings.. and FUCK FUCK  I missed my period ever since me and Nick had sex! I THINK I'M PREGNANT!

I turn around and Nick looks up to me with those depressed eyes. I had the same look. And at the exact same time...

Nick: "I MURDERED HER!"

"I I THINK I'M PREGNANT"
