We had to spent a few days more in Boston. Chris decided to go back to New York three days before the big trip to Orlando then Miami. What a month!
"You already have an appointment with mom for thanksgiving, okay?" Scott said placing his +2 card on the pile. "Take that, bro!"
"Bitch," Chris muttered and took his two cards.
"Yes Anna, we'll be waiting for you!" I heard Lisa yelling from the kitchen.
"No way!" I whispered to Chris.
"Yes way," Lisa sat next to us in the couch as I placed my 3 red card down. "And you should come for Christmas as well."
"Oh, I think I won't be able to come here for that date," I pouted. "I flight back home just before Christmas' Eve."
My family have a beautiful tradition: wait around the tree singing carols and eating some good made-by-grandma food until 00:00 of the 25th of December to open the gifts, then we hug each other and pray a little bit after that. We're a very religious fam, and that's how we celebrate the catholic Christmas. That's why I couldn't spend Christmas in any other place, not that I wanted to, either.
Lisa shook her head. "What a shame Anna, we'd love to have you here longer!"
I could see by the corner of my eye that Chris wasn't happy about that, but I couldn't do nothing to avoid the topic. We finished that round of UNO and went upstairs to get ready to sleep. Chris didn't even say goodbye and I knew why he was acting like that. You must talk to him, Jiminy Cricket spoke and I followed his advice after changing into my pyjamas.
I knocked on his door for around three minutes.
The door swung open. "Yesss?" Chris was still upset and annoyed.
"Hey, I'm sorry, I couldn't sleep without your goodnight kisses," I said with an innocent look, trying to soften his mood.
He gestured me to come in and close the door. He sat on his bed, still upset. Damn. "You never told me you had to go back to London before New Year."
"Of course I did, actually, I booked my flight for the day after I finished classes," I was getting annoyed. "But after everything happened I postponed it so I could flight a week later!" I remember telling Chris about having to run from uni to flat to airport in just 5 hours that day. He wasn't paying attention, jerk.
He looked up at me. "Well, thank you then for staying a week more." Sarcasm filling his words.
I shrugged. "Whatever, Chris," I turned to go back to my bedroom after the failed attempt, with rage flowing through my veins. All of a sudden and before I stepped out of his bedroom, he pulled my arm roughly.
"Hold your horses, I haven't given you the kiss you were asking for," he whispered getting closer. And as the mere and weak mortal I am, and with my knees turning into jelly, I gave in.
"In the first place, I shouldn't be asking you to do that," I traced his lips with my thumb. "You just have to do it, without a previous request."
He closed his eyes. "I know, I was a bit pissed. But nothing that this angel in front of me can't solve." He said huskily before locking his lips with mine. His kisses tasted different, they tasted like heaven, if his kisses made me lost my mind before, now I was losing myself as a whole.
Chris poked my butt, gesturing me to wrap my legs around his hips. And guess what? I DID! He pushed me against the door, one hand supporting my body and the other caressing my torso without breaking the kiss. My body temperature was rising fast and my heart was about to explode; I needed Chris more than I thought. I bit his bottom lip, earning a moan from him, he pushed me harder in response. Chris kept kissing my jawline, then my neck, he ran his free hand under my shirt, through my bare skin, and before he could touch my eager nipples I whimpered like a hot bitch.
