The last weeks went by faster than we thought. Chris was filming his lasts scenes in New York, so we had a few time for each other. I was finishing my final project and I had my final presentation a week before Christmas Eve, and also the weather didn't help.

"Hey babe, I'm just around the corner of your campus," said Chris through the phone. "What about a coffee?"

I smiled. "Well, sounds good. Where do I meet you?"

"I'll pick you up," he said before hanging up.

"Last night I dreamt about my final presentation in front of like a thousand people," I said after I took a sip of my latte. "And in the middle of it, I realised I WAS NAKED."

Chris almost spits his macchiato and bursted into laughter. "Are you kidding? That's a good sign!!!" He started explaining. "I've heard that if in you dream you're naked, it means you're gonna excel it!"

I looked at him in disbilief. "Be serious, Evans, I'm freaking out."

"Nah babe, you'll do it fine, let's not stress about it and instead, plan something for your last week," Chris sounded really excited about it.

"Something like what?" I asked hastily.

Chris smirked. "Let's throw a farewell partyyyyy!!!"

I was perplexed at Chris' attitude. He went from being so upset about me leaving to, well, this. I wasn't complaining about it, I felt relaxed instead.

"Well, sounds good!!" I replied excited.

Chris' phone started ringing. "An, it's from the set, I have to go now, I'll text you whenever I'm free this week."

Despite we were on the same city, Chris' filming timetable was terrible. We almost spent like a week without seeing each other, so he took any chance he had to meet me even if it was just for a few minutes, like this day.

"Who's coming to the final presentation?" I asked Sarah as the professor handed us the invitations for it.

"My parents and my brother, are you inviting Chris?" She replied.

"Who else would I?" I laughed. "I hope he can come, he's been pretty busy, I'm not sure if it fits his agenda."

Sarah patted my arm, "I'm sure he will make the time."

We were one week away from that day; I was in the same project with Sarah. Chloe and Kate were together in another, so, I would invite them too. I asked Chris if he could go and see me doing fine in my presentation and his answer got me really sad:

"Well babe, let's see if I can make it." Ouch.

I knew he was extremely busy filming his movie, in fact, I was glad having him in the same city. At least we could meet whenever he could. But I expected the impossible: for him to openly and happily accept the invitation.

"Anna, are you upset?" He asked me through the phone. "You're acting weird."

I sighed. "I'm okay, it's fine, I mean, we are supposed to live without each other once I leave, aren't we?"

He went silent for a moment. "I know, but hey," he changed his tone, "not to spoil the ending, but everything is gonna be okay."

I half-smiled, "I'm so glad to hear this..."

"I'm learning from the best, I love you," Chris said before hanging up.

That week was the worst of the whole year, Sarah and I spent the entire week at mi house because the snowy weather had us locked in there while preparing our final project. We took turns to take West for a walk three times a day. The poor thing loved the snow more than a mere human does. Dogs enjoy life, definitely. Chris, well, as I told you, he was busy most of the time. Every now and then he passed by to say hi or to get us coffe, brownies, candies and that kind of stuff to keep us "motivated".
