Chapter 6 pt 1

Ok I was really excited to write this chapter! So here it is as a special treat!

Lauren's POV

"OMG...how-what beautiful explosion happened in our room?" Camila exclaimed looking around at the Christmas lights. It was breath-taking really I mean there're actual Christmas trees scattered across the room. Each one lit with Christmas lights and what looked like snow. Beyond that was a porch swing hanging down from the ceiling. A PORCH SWING?! It was painted white and pillowed to appear soft.

"Is this actual snow?!" Camila screamed as she bent down toward the floor. I looked down to find the floor carpeted by what looked like snow.

"No Mila, but it is fake snow." Normani emerged with a smile. I looked behind her to see a table set for two. It was lit by mason jars with candles and had a feast of food on both plates.

"Guys...this is beautiful." I spoke breathless. Normani and Ally smiled as they pulled Camz and I into the room. It was even more beautiful when we entered the room. I hadn't noticed from the door but the ceiling was coated in stars. I swear it looked like the roof was no longer there and was replaced with a beautiful night sky.

"This is absolutely incredible guys but what is this for?" Camila asked with curiosity. All was silent for for a long period of time until I saw a smile creep up on Ally's face.

"Well...we have seen the way you two have gotten close over the past few months." She spoke and my heart almost stopped right then and there. I know what she was going to say next and my mind went racing. I wasn't ready yet! I don't even know if Camz remotely likes me that way. Why would they do this?!?!

"So we set this a date for you two to see if your friendship is more than that." Ally said now somewhat nervous. I felt like I was going to puke. My stomach churned rapidly as Camila stood there in silence. Minutes went by and I swear I am about to pass out. Then a small smile creep across her face.

"Thank-you guys, truthfully you created what I never had the balls to do. I honestly should have been the one to do this but I'm forever grateful." Camila said looking me in the eyes now. My heart is officially stopping.

"So LoLo...since that this beautiful date has been prepared, would you like to enjoy it with me?" Camz asked with most adorable smile to exist.

"Y-you want to have a date with me?" I stuttered out smiling widely. She just giggled and nodded her head.

"So is that a yes?!" Dinah, Normani, and Ally said in sync. I looked over at them and laughed.

"Yes, it is a yes." I said smiling down at Camz. She looked back at me with adoration and a slight blush. The three other girls then smiled and headed towards the door.

"Have a fun time you two." Ally said with a wink as they all exited the door. I giggled a little then looked back to Camz. She was smiling goofily up at me.

"What?" I asked with a giggle.

"I never thought that you would ever say yes." She said somewhat shyly with the blush on her cheek growing redder. I took a step toward her, leaving little space between our bodies. I then took the free hand that I wasn't holding in my hand.

"I never thought you would ask." I whispered looking into her puppy brown eyes. She let out a small smile as she leaned her forehead onto mine. Our lips were centimeters apart and I could feel her breathe against my face. I wanted so badly to close the gap and I could tell that her eyes kept darting to my lips. I took a deep breathe in as I leaned in to close the space between us. When my lips were on top of hers my heart fluttered softly. It was as if my world had finally stopped spinning and all that I knew that this was meant to be. Camila had captured my bottom lip and was gently tugging on it. I kissed back with equal force and wrapped my arms around her neck. It was a beautiful moment in time...that had to end because we needed air. We both pushed away breathing slightly heavy, but a wide smile had grown across all of our faces.

"Camz..." I spoke still trying to catch my breath.

"Yes LoLo?" She spoke mimicking my breath pattern.

"I've been dreaming of that to happen since I met you at boot camp...I know I wanted it to happen because I was sure that I had fallen for you." I spoke still smiling happily with tears running down my cheek.

Camila's POV

"...I was sure that I had fallen for you." Lauren said with tears starting roll down her cheeks. She had fallen for me? She is in love with me?! Bu-but she's Lauren Jauregui! She could have anyone she wanted! Why me?!?

"Camz?" Lauren said breaking my thoughts.

"Lauren...why me?" I asked looking into her beautiful ocean eyes.

"You could do so much better than me, why did you say yes? Why did you fall for me?" I asked tears starting to run down my cheeks. Lauren wiped them away with her thumb.

"You were the only one that made me feel happy at an instant." She spoke tears still falling from her eyes.

"You were the only that made my world stop spinning when I was around you. Camila you made me believe that dreams really do come true, because every morning I wake up to your smiling face. I love you, Camz...I haven't felt like this before." She said as tears were streaming down both of our faces. I quickly wrapped my arms around her waist and hugged tightly.

"I love you too, LoLo." I spoke as she wrapped her arms around my neck. We stayed like that for a long time. Neither of us ever wanted to let go of each other.
