Chapter 11

Lauren's POV

"LoLo bear where are we going?" Camila whined pressing her nose against the car window. Our driver just looked back at her with a smirk as we continued towards our destination.

"Camz I told you it was a surprise!" I giggled as I playfully nudged her. She turned around and pouted her lip, giving me the puppy dog eyes.

"NO. NOPE. Karla Camila Cabello I refuse to give into that look." I exclaimed as I shut my eyes to block out the look.

"Lauren!! C'mon just tell m-"

"Ms. Jauregui and Ms. Cabello we have arrived at the destination." Our driver explained as he stopped the car. Lauren smirked as she unbuckled her seat belt.

"Karla Camila Cabello I do think that patience is not a virtue you possess." Lauren said as she opened her door then going around to open Camila's as the younger girl pouted.

"Well Lauren Michelle Jauregui I wouldn't need patience if you would just tell your impatient girlfriend things-" Camila shut her mouth as she took in the sight before her. They were at the boardwalk and the lights highlighted each of the rides and games.

"Well unlike you my Snow Princess, I think that once in awhile surprises are the best thing." Lauren whispered as wrapped her arms around her girl friend's waist. Camila blushed slightly as she leaned back into the older girl's embrace.

"You're already the biggest surprise of my life, Lo. It's just a little hard at points grasping that you're actually taking me on a date, let alone the place that we're going. I'm sorry...I guess I just wanted a little solid ground; clouds aren't exactly stable at points." Camila whispered as Lauren leaned in to kiss her cheek.

"Camz you're not going to do a free fall, I promise. You can land here beside me; I will be your solid ground. I won't leave you unless you tell me to." Lauren said as released Camila and looked her straight in the eye.

"You have me, Camz. I'm yours." Lauren said as she kneeled down on one knee.

"Lauren..." Camila questioned as she looked down at the girl who held her heart.

"Camz, I've wanted to ask you this since boot camp and I planed on being a cliche, but I think that I need to ask this now." Lauren said smiling and pulling something from her purse.

"Karla Camila Cabello, you have been my light through my constant day dreaming. You're the only person who I would want to travel this journey with. So with a promise of all my love, will you please be my girlfriend?" Lauren asked while pulling out a knitted beanie with "LoLo Bear's" written in the middle. Camila was now in tears as she knelt on the ground in front of her love and wrapped her arms around her neck."

"Forever and always, my love." Camila whispered in between sobs. They didn't move from where they were. The date never came to begin when the night came to a close. The couple had just moved slightly to a nearby bench and laid in each others arms, watching the night above twinkle on. Not many words were said; Not many words at all. It wasn't that they didn't have anything to say it was just that being there...together was more than what words could say. They were enough for each other and for once in their lives there were no they feelings but happiness. No doubt swirled their minds or fears crept into their emotions. It was just happiness for once they felt that the underdog had finally gotten the girl.
