Chapter 9

Camila's POV

Rehearsals went through without a hitch but I honestly can't believe we're heading to the semi finals on Wednesday! We've made it so far and I really think we have a shot at winning!!!! It would be the most amazing thing to happen to me, next to Lauren of course.

"Camz I'm sleepy, please come cuddle with me!" Lauren whined pulling me into the living room. I smiled and let her drag me over to the couch where I laid down first. Lauren followed suit, resting her head on my shoulder as she nuzzled her nose into my neck. I then wrapped my arms around her, tracing my fingers up and down her spine. She sighed with contentment at my touch and I let out a small chuckle.

"I always sleep better in your arms, Camz." She sighed sleepily.

"You make me feel safe and guarded when you hold me." She yawned snuggling closer to me. I could feel tears at the back of my eyes forming. She was truly my LoLo bear.

"I'll always be there to protect you, LoLo. I'll always fight for you as your personal soldier. I love you too much to let fall." I whispered into her hair as a tear fell down my cheek. I could feel her smile into my neck.

"I've never had anyone who thought I was worth protecting.." She whispered into my neck. With that my heart thumped hard in my chest. How could anyone not see the worth in her that I do?!?!? Has the world completely lost it?!?

"Camz since I sang to you last night, can you sing to me right now?" She asked sleepily.

"Anything for my LoLo bear." I whispered kissing the top of her head. I already knew the perfect song to sing so I immediately started singing it out.

Where did all the people go?

They got scared when the lights went low.

I looked down at Lauren who was now fast asleep in my arms. I honestly pray that this date goes amazingly. I need to be able to call her mine by the end of the night.
