Chapter 12

Dinah's POV

Today's the day! Today's the day that we see who will advance to the finals and is one step closer to winning. We're so close dawgs and with Lauren and Camila up on cloud nine our spot is almost guaranteed!! I mean in literally 5 hours we will be competing for the finals on X-Factor! How can this actually be possible?!

"Lauren!" Camila laughed breaking Dinah out of her thoughts.

"Lauren st-stop!!!" Camila stuttered as Lauren had her pinned to the couch tickling her.

"But your laugh is so lovely!" Lauren giggled as she tickled her ribs one by one. Dinah let out a chuckle as she observed her best friends.

"You two are so cute." Dinah said smiling at the two. Lauren beamed over at Dinah as she cuddled into her Camila.

"We try, Dinah Jane! We try!" Lauren giggled as she nuzzled her nose into Camila's neck. Dinah laughed as she stood and shook her head. Then without warning the youngest harmonizer plopped onto the couple.

"DINAH JANE!!!!" Camila and Lauren said together causing Dinah to laugh.

"What dawgs? There isn't room for 3?" Dinah smirked as she sprawled over the two girls.

"Dinah you're squishing us!" Lauren said pushing the girl off of her and Camila, Dinah hitting the ground with a thud.

"Hey dawgs! That ain't cool Camren!" Dinah mumbled as she got off the ground and sat back down on the couch.

"Wow dawgs! We killed it tonight, don't mind with the judges said, we did amazing!!" Dinah exclaimed as she got into their car. The girls smiled up at her with sad expressions as they too climbed into their car. Camila took her seat next to Dinah and Lauren followed suit. It was an off feeling as the car moved from the parking lot; there was silence swallowing the car whole. Even the music that was playing on the radio was tuned out by it. I guess that we should just pray it'll work out in our favor. There really isn't anything else to do.
