Payton's POV
I woke up to the sound of my phone blaring in my ear on my dresser. Slowly I got up from my bed and answered it.
"Hello?" I said more like a question wondering why someone would call me so early in the morning.
"Hello is this Ms.Rayne?" he said.
"Um yes may I ask who this is?" I asked twirling my hair getting nervous.
"This is your principal telling you that you were chosen to study in London this summer. Are you still willing to go?"
"yes yes of corse, thank you so very much!" I said trying not to pass out
"your very welcome goodbye" he said before he hung up.
Once he hung up I let out a girly scream and skipped to the bathroom to get ready. After I was done I put on a blue stiped shirt, some skinny jeans, and a pair a vans. Now skipping down the hall way I went passed my mom's room. At first I didn't see her but after I backed and looked again I couldn't help but run to her and tell her the great news.
"MOM!'
"What is it? Are you ok?" She said a little woried
"Yes of course I just got a phone call from the principal saying that I could go to London!"
"That's wonderful!"
" I know right!" I said agreeing with her.
After a moment of hugging each other and being excited I decided to head down to the kitchen hoping I could actually get breakfast this time. I grabed a yogurt and walked back to my brother's room wondering why he isn't already pushing me out of the door. When I walked in he wasn't anywhere in sight but all the sudden I felt two arms wrap around my waist and thrown over their sholder.
"JAMES!" I said now upside down I heard a deep chuckle and I saw that we were now heading to the door leading to his car. After he put me down I punched his shoulder and we just laughed.
" I just wanted to scare you that's all" he said between laughs
"Whatever"now feeling embarsed by the looks we were getting form the people that heard me screaming.
Not before long we made it to school and I felt my stomach form in knots remebering about what Maddy said. I stepped out of the car, my knees shaking now and waved to my brother as he drove away.
"Payton!" That's all I heard before I felt someone crash into me giving me a hug.
"Hey Riley guess what happened!"
"How did you know it was me??' she asked.
"Who else screames my name and give me a bone crushing hug every morning?'' I asked sarcastically.
"Good point" she said before we started laughing.
"So anyways you will never guess what happened!!" I said practically screaming.
"You can go to London!"
"How did you know?" I asked shocked.
"Well after I signed you up I realized I couldn't just leave my best friend so I signed up too! Then the principal called me this morning saying I could go and I asked about you too!"
"Omg! I love you!!" I said jumping and laughing
"The only thing is, I go a week after you do because I signed up late." she said in a less excited tone.
" I don't mind as long as I won't be alone!" I said laughing again.
"I know right!" she said right before the first bell rang signaling that we had to go to class now.
