Payton's POV
I stood there looking at myself in the mirror all alone in the bathroom as I got ready for one of the most nerve racking nights of my life. I was actually going to go see Caleb. I couldn't help the bad feeling in my gut but I just pushed it aside and continued to get ready. Once I was done I grabbed a jacket and headed down stairs.
The boys have been trying to get a hold of me since yesterday but I never answer. I definitely do not want Harry to know I was going to go see Caleb. I didn't really want the boys knowing either. I don't know what I am actually going to say to Caleb anyways.
He had texted me earlier wanting to know where I lived so he could pick me up. When I checked my phone for the time I realized that he should be here any minute. So I just waited on the couch until he got here.
After a while I heard a knock on the door and I slowly walked over and looked through the small hole. When I did I saw a guy about Harry's age with dark brown hair and deep brown eyes. I figured it was him so I took a deep breath and opened the door. When I did he looked up and his eyes went wide.
"Payton!" He said
"hi." I said nervously
"I haven't seen you in forever, you look great." he complimented me
"Thank you."
"I am so sorry about your memory." he told me
"Oh its fine." I said
"Are you ready?" He asked
"Yep." I said before we walked outside to his car.
The car ride was awkward but I was thankful that it didn't last long. When we got to the little coffee shop the bad feeling in my gut returned. I pushed the feeling away once again as he opened my door.
He told me that this shop was one of the oldest in the city and that he has came here since he came to London. He swore that it was the best. When we got inside we quickly ordered and started to look for a table.
Several were open but he took me to a secluded one in the back for some reason. When got to the booth one side had some kind of liquid spilled on it so we had to sit on one half unfortunately. Once we sat down I noticed the tattoos on his arms.
They didn't seem to mean anything really they were all just small and scattered in different spots so I didn't ask about them. After a while of talking about what I missed back at home we kinda went into an awkward stage where we didn't really talk.
"Hey are you still seeing that Harry guy?" he said putting his hand on my thigh
"Um w-we are having issues right now." I said pushing his hand off
"Aw that's to bad." he said putting his hand further up my thigh this time
"Look, its been a long night, can you take me home." I said pushing his hand off once again.
"Yea sure." he said before letting me out and leading me back to the car.
When we got in the car I started to feel a little better that I was going home. I was definitely not going to see him again. After a while of driving I noticed that the ride was a bit longer this time. I looked outside and I didn't recognize where we were going.
Then I noticed that we were heading to the woods and I started to get nervous. I looked over at Caleb and he just had straight face as he stared at the road.
"Where are we going?" I asked nervously as I fiddled with my hands
"It's just a short cut." was all he said
