"Hey Leon, look at my report card." I say running over to him in the gym. He links his arm around my shoulder and snatches it from my hands.

"Damn straight A's!" Michael assumes and runs up to us. We all three view the report card and suddenly a wet thumb is shoved into my ears making me groan.

"Wet willy for the smartest sister ever!" He laughs and I take the basketball from his hand and toss it to his face but he blocks it.

"Proud of you sis, we almost done workouts. Just go hang on the bleachers." Leon says and I jog to the bleachers and take out my phone.

Wesley had sent me a picture of his report card and said he wanted to go out for ice cream to reward ourselves. And that's what we were going to just do.

A soft knock is heard at my door. I groan flipping the pillow onto the cooler side and the door opens. I suck my teeth and open my eyes.

"It smells like straight sex." Mel says holding her breath and stands in the door way.

"We're minding our own space, what's it to ya?" I frown.

"Yeah I couldn't sleep. Your mattress thudded against the wall all night, and don't forget the orgasms." She complains.

"Sorry." I say ashamed. Shannon must've already left for work.

"So I'm taking off of work. I'm going out to buy Brayden some new clothes-"

"Let me come." I say sitting up and staring at her in her shorts and long sleeve shirt.

"Well I'm leaving around noon. Be ready..." She says starting to leave the room and closes the door.

I scanned the room and everything was thrown around. We needed to clean up. I cleaned up my clothes and trash and left Shannon to her own clothes and trash to tidy up.

Taking a hot shower calmed my nerves and I walked into the living room to see Mel placing diapers into Brayden's bag.

"Want me to carry it?" I say extending my arm.

"Thanks." Mel says and I hold it over my shoulder and also take Brayden from her. "Wassup man." I chuckle as he looks at me oblivious and claps gently.

Mel steps infront of me and we head towards the elevator. We stand silently moving from the tenth floor to the first. I couldn't help but stare at Mel, cause she was still bad.

I noticed she had some lipstick smeared off her lips. I move myself infront of her and brush my lips along the corner of hers.

"Chris don't start that. Not after you been all up over that girl." She frowns and steps off.

"Ya mama bad Brayden. Look at that ass." I taunt as she exits the lobby doors. Brayden giggles as I high five him. "I think daddy did good at picking his women."

"Last time I checked you picked a kid." Melonie says rudely opening the back door for me to place Brayden down.

"Hey, she's in the past." I say truthfully trying to forget about Levi. I wasn't gonna lie it was hard to. But when she ain't wanna believe my 'I love you' plead I figure I'd just leave her alone. And it's been atleast a month or so since we've talked.

It seemed as if no matter how much we avoided each other, somehow we'd keep reconnecting. And now I think its fate or God telling me to get my shit together and get my girl back.
