After we got breakfast in the hotel, we decided to just stay in all day. I still had a headache from fainting and was still in shock from yesterday. We were here for another 3 days so we could make up for a lazy day today. After hours of Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat,Tumblr etc. we decided to go for a walk around the block. I got on my flannel, 5sos shirt, ripped skinny jeans, and black converse and headed out with Megan. As we walked down the busy street, arm in arm, everything finally settled in. I was in Sydney. I had just met two of my biggest idols ever. Then they bought me Starbucks. Then I fainted in front of them. Like a complete idiot. Wow. Well done Rachel. I shook the thoughts out of my head.
"Have you texted Luke yet?" I asked Megan.
"Yeah, we were texting all night and before breakfast. Can you believe it? THE Luke Hemmings! Have you texted the Calum Hood yet?" I sighed. Since Megan told me what had happened yesterday, I had been trying to think of what to say to Calum all morning. I must have typed then deleted at least 70 messages. I mean, what are you meant to say to Calum Fucking Hood? I just shook my head at Megan.
"I don't know what to say to him."
"What about 'hi'? It's a pretty popular conversation starter." Megan stated sarcastically.
"You can't simply say 'hi' to Calum Hood! He's CALUM HOOD!"
"Oh my god, Rachel, stop thinking about this so much! Look, give me your phone" Megan held out her hand expectantly.
"No!" I exclaimed, taking my phone out of my pocket and holding it tight in my hand.
"Come on!" She said, grabbing at my hands.
"Get off!" I said as my best friend wrestled me for my phone in the middle of the street. Of course, she was much stronger than me, and eventually got my phone off of me.
"Right, do you have that paper with his number on it?" I nodded, defeated, and handed her the paper that I had been carrying in my pocket all day. She took the paper and typed away at my phone, then held it in front of my face so I could see what she had sent.Hey this is Rachel from yesterday :)
How does she make this all seem so easy? I snatched my phone from her and put it in my pocket. As we headed back to the hotel, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket.
Hey, I'm glad you didn't forget me... I sure haven't forgotten you ;)
