as we walked towards starbucks, I couldn't even begin to comprehend what was happening. Two of my idols were about to buy my best friend and I starbucks. Megan walked infront with luke, starting conversation naturally. That was how we worked. She was the confident, outgoing one, I was the shy, quiet one. As I walked beside calum in silence, out of the side of my eye I could see him staring at me. Oh no, did I have something in my hair? Maybe he was just thinking about how weird I was? He probably was just walking with me until he got a chance to talk to megan. I was used to it by now. Megan was the hot one. All boys ever talked to me about was if my friend was single or if I would do their maths homework for them. I ignored the looks I was getting from calum and walked on. After what felt like 1000 years we reached Starbucks. When we got to the front of the counter, the barista seemed to recognise the boys. "calum, Luke I didn't know you were home! What can I get you?" "hey joe, um I'll have a choc chip frappe, megan?" "uh ill have a java chip frappe" Calum looked at me expectantly "um...ill have...a cappuccino?" I stuttered. "ill have the same" calum nodded, after handing the Barista a handful of notes. As we waited for our coffee to come, I reached in my purse to pay calum back. I got out a handful of money and handed it to him. "here's the money for the coffee" he looked disgusted that I would even suggest that. "no way! I said I'd buy you a coffee" he said. I opened my mouth to argue but he just raised his eyebrows and I soon shut up. When our coffee arrived, I was expecting to say our goodbyes and leave, but, surprisingly, luke walked straight over to a table with Megan and sat down. I had no choice but to follow. When we sat down Luke said "they don't sound like Australian accents, where are you guys from?" "Ireland actually" Megan spoke. "wow!" Calum exclaimed, " what brings you so far from home then?" he asked, looking at me directly in the eyes, making me feel slightly uncomfortable. "to try and meet you" megan said, slightly embarrassed. "wow really? You travelled half way across the world just to meet us?" Calum said, obviously sounding surprised. "yeah, we are both huge fans, and we knew we were here on a break so we thought we would give it a try." I spoke "we went to the Dublin show last year and waited outside the stage door all night, but you never came out..." "Oh yeah. I remember that night...sorry about that, I felt kind of sick that night" Said Luke. "it's ok, we made so many friends waiting outside. So, I have to ask.. how come there isn't pile of fans over to you all day here?" I asked, since I knew Megan was thinking the exact same thing. This time it was Calum that spoke, "well I guess- " at that point his phone buzzed. "oh shit" he muttered under his breath. "sorry guys, looks like we have to go - heres my number Rachel.. ill text you those pictures later" he smiled. Luke hugged Megan and handed her a piece of paper - probably his phone number, and then, two of the most important people in my life walked away from me.

That was when I collapsed.
