End of an Era

Truly I knew this was coming for a while. Under this new update all of my content could be stripped from Wattpad..I've already gotten a strike or whatever on my one shot book. This is devastating to see that a platform I once loved and appreciated has become a place that is no longer a safe haven for creativity and fun. First it was ads, then it was taking away messages, it's all been a drawn out plan to make Wattpad a cash grab instead of what it used to be. AI covers, AI stories, taking down books that built this platform up. I can't do it anymore. And I won't do it either. All of this ongoing nonsense with Wattpad has really deterred me from my comeback and I am devastated with the new TOS. I don't know what to do or where to take things. Patreon is an okay avenue but it's not ideal for the writers/author format and especially for my readers. I tried Stacked but it got less features than Patreon does. AO3 is a hellscape filled all types of nonsense, and the website I was working on is developing slower than I would like and it probably won't be like I envisioned it to be at all. But I'll still try with the website. I just don't know where to go and it's very disheartening. Unfortunately guys I will not be making a return to Wattpad. It's just too much and I can no longer support and put my work on such a platform. I will find another way to get my books and one shots and ideas out there but idk how. And I'm really sad that the place that inspired me to be a writer is no longer a place I can call "home". If any of you have an idea of where to go feel free to tell me so I can look into it. Once again I thank you all for supporting me. And sticking by when you didn't have to. I am sorry it's happening this way but I feel my hands are tied. I love you Lovelies and Lovers. You guys are everything to me and I will always love you for taking a chance on me. Even when I didn't believe in myself.
