Spirits pov.
I saw Death, the new leader. I nodded to him, he smiled back. "Spirit, come here." He kept smiling, Bear and Snow were running around as if THEY were leaders. I walked over to Death, my fur glistening with frost, Winter was coming. "We need you to check the borders. Take Bear and Snow, will you?" He asked. I nodded and left, Bear and Snow yipping and chattering like Starlings. I glared at them, "Be quiet." Snow rolled his eyes but kept quiet. We got there and I recognized three wolvez from time to time patrolling. Sun, Moon, and Hail. Moon was looking around, I snarled, "Hey prey thieves, out of our territory." Sun coughed hastily and they walked forward towards us. I looked at Moon, her fur glimmered. She glared at Bear and Snow. I growled deeply, "Leave." I noticed Sun was smaller then Snake, an inch bigger then me. I glared at him, he laughed. "You guys are funny. We'll hunt, then leave or we'll stay and rest here for a bit." Don't tempt him Spirit. I heard Snakes voice whisper in my head. I growled, "Well then that's too bad." I jumped at Sun, pushing him over. Moon attacked Bear and Snow started to battle with Hail. Everyone was snarling, growling and barking. I glared at Sun, he smashed me down to the ground. I snaped at his muzzel. Then I saw Sky. She ran in front of everyone. "EVERYONE STOP!" She howled. I glared at her, she turned to Hail. "Hail, my name is Sky. I am your daughter. You had four pups, Rain, Ashes, Leaf and me. Ashes, Leaf and Ashes are dead." She explained softly. Hail nodded, "I know." She mumbled. "You already knew that?" I asked. She nodded again. "Sky, do you want to come back with me?" I snarled and jumped at her, slicing her throat open. I turned to Sun and Moon, "You guys have seen to much. YOUR TURN!" I snarled again and ripped out Moons throat she died in a snap of fingers. Then I smirked at Sun. He growled and I swiftly dodged under his paws and shoved him up from under. He landed clumsily behind me, I pounced on him and stared ripping at his throat too. I looked at Bear, Snow and Sky. "Don't say anything or else you all will be next." I snarled. They nodded, I rolled in the ground to get blood off of my fur. I dragged Sun, Moon and Hails body away in the bushes and then I covered the trail of blood. We all walked back. "It's clear." I reported. Death looked at me, pleased. "Goodjob, especially you, Spirit. You are just lik your mother, strong, fast, skilled, kind, smart and a leader at heart." He praised. I puffed out my chest, proud. There's one thing that I AM proud of, my dear son. Again I heard Snakes whisper haunting my mind. I gazed at Death happily. He smiled at me and beckoned with his muzzel fo me to stand beside him. "ALL WOLVES GATHER, I AM NOT GOING TO BE EADER ANYMORE. SPIRIT WILL NOW BE LEADER OF SNAKES BELOVED MIDNIGHTPACK." Death declared. I proudly looked at my new pack. I jumed down and walked into the forest. I saw... Snake? I look at her, she was so beautiful. "Son. I see you've chosen the wrong path." She pointed out, shaking her head. I look down, ashamed. "I only want to be with you. I lost Fire, Ashes, Leaf, you, Twilight, Nightkiller." I murmured. She glared at me fiercely. "Sorry Spirit, but you can't. You've killed
INNOCENT wolves." She lunged at me, I growled but I let her slash my neck, she stared at me as I fell to the ground, bleeding. "You'll live in the darkness and you will stay there. Your life of ending others lives had ended, only slower and more painful." she started slashing deep cuts across my side, legs and face. I wailed in pain, the blood pooled around me. Snake looked at me, her face twisted in pain and sadness. I smiled at her bravely, "I love you mom. Thanks for training me to be strong." I managed to whisper. Snake smile back at me strongly, "Goodbye, son. May our paths cross again." Then all I saw was darkness as she faded, smiling.
