Chapter 14: Not Moving In

Niall’s POV

(A couple of months later)

I was packing all my stuff to go back to London. It had been a great tour and it is finally done. We achieved so many goals and we were rewarded with so many blessings. I have break now for a while and I guess we’re going to rest and do some song writing and recording. The tour was very successful all our concerts were sold out and the experience was amazing. I’m glad to be having rest for a while though it has been too crazy for the last couple of months. I didn’t have that much time for my family and now I can actually visit them after settling back in London. I haven’t seen Paige in two months after touring America and going back and forth from where I was to where she was shooting. Paige and Claire were done with their show and I heard they were being offered a second season because of how it was successful and the rating was high but they rejected the offer of a second season. They are both coming out to London to rest and then start working in a couple of months and that is what they both wanted.

“Niall, are you ready to go to the airport?” Harry asked. “Yes I am. Are the others ready to go?” I asked. He nodded and we both took our luggage outside and into the black van. We went our way to the airport with Paul. “We finally get some rest from all those concerts and screaming fans.” Louis said. “It’s been amazing but we do need our rest. It will be a little more quiet now.” Harry said. “I can’t wait to go back to London and visit my family and hang out with Perrie.” Zayn said. We finally arrived the airport and there were so many screaming fans outside the airport. Some fans were crying and telling us not to leave them. I was touched. We decided to sign some autographs and take pictures with the fans before we go inside. It’s the least we could do they were amazing and very loyal to us. When we reached the gate we sat down waiting to board and my phone beeped. It was a text message.

From Paige: Good job with the tour monkey. You are truly amazing. I love you! See you in London!

To Paige: Thank you so much babe. I’m at the airport I will see you soon! I miss you and I love you!

We got in the plane and we made our way to London. It was a long flight, but I slept through most of it because I was so tired. We finally landed and I went straight to my flat to get some rest because I was still so tired. When I got there I went to shower real quick and went to sleep.

I woke up and I saw Paige sitting next to me with breakfast. I’m guessing she got in early and decided to cook me some breakfast. “Good Morning my incredible handsome boyfriend.” She said. I smiled at her cuteness and took my breakfast from her. I could really get used to waking up to her next to me. “Eat up babe. We are going to go house hunting today. So I can move in to the new place.” She said. “Do you really need to get a place of your own? You can actually just live here so we can be together.” I said. “Come on babe. My parents won’t approve of that. I don’t think it would be healthy for us to have my parents hate us because we insisted to live together.” She said. “I suppose your right. Okay I will eat this delicious breakfast while you shower.” I said kissing her lips. She giggled and went to the bathroom. I ate all my breakfast and may I say it was very delicious like always. She came out of the bathroom in a towel so I went inside and took a quick shower so we could leave. We both got ready and headed out.

“Where is Claire? Aren’t you living with her? Doesn’t she want to look with you so you can both decide a good place to stay?” I asked. “Nope, she decided to live with Harry. So I guess I am going to be on my own.” She said. I stopped walking and got pretty annoyed. “What’s wrong Niall? Why did you stop walking?” She asked. “How come she can move in with Harry, but you can’t move in with me?” I asked. “It’s not the same thing Niall. Claire’s parents approve of her living with Harry and my parents did not and I can’t do anything about that.” She said. I shrugged it off and we went on to searching for an apartment. After a long day we found some places that were good, but she wanted to think about which one to pick. I was really annoyed at how she just can’t live with me. If she wanted to then she could. She said the problem was that her parents wouldn’t approve because we are too young. I’ll talk to them about it and maybe I can get them to agree. I got out my phone and dialed ma’s number.

“Hey Niall. Nice hearing from you. How are you?” She said. “Hey Ma, I am fine I just called because I was wondering if you would mind if Paige came to live with me? I would be able to look after her and it would be easier for her.” I explained. “Not at all. Alex and I insisted on her to ask you if she could live with you but she didn’t want to. I don’t really know why she won’t but just ask her yourself.” She said. “Oh really? Well, thanks for letting me know. I’ll talk to you soon Ma. I need to go and talk to her.” I hung up. Paige came back from the kitchen with dinner and placed a plate on the table for me to eat.

“I don’t really get it. What is wrong Paige? Did I do anything wrong?” I asked. “What do you mean what is wrong? You didn’t do anything wrong Niall.” She said. “Why don’t you move in with me?” I asked. “My parents won’t approve. I already told you Niall.” She said. “Stop lying to me!” I yelled. “Niall, don’t yell at me and I am not lying.” She said calmly. “I just spoke to your mom and she said it was you who didn’t want to move in with me! She said she was completely fine with you moving in!” I yelled ignoring her comment about yelling. “You called my mom? What is wrong with you?” She asked. “What’s wrong with me? I was upset! I wanted to put effort so we could move in together but apparently you are the one who doesn’t want to move in with me!” I said. “I just don’t want to take it too fast. You don’t understand.” She said. “I understand perfectly. You don’t want to stay with me.” I said. “It’s not that Niall.” She said quietly. I headed for the door in frustration. “Where are you going?” She asked. “I’m going to Zayn’s. Sleep here if you want I am leaving.” I said coldly and left my flat. “I’ll leave.” She said. I beat her to the door and I slammed it shut.

I got my phone and called Zayn. “Hey lad.” Zayn said. “Is it okay for me to stay at yours tonight?” I asked. “No problem. Why can’t you stay at yours?” He asked. “I’ll tell you when I get there.” I hung up. I drove to Zayn’s flat and knocked on the door.

“Hey mate. What’s wrong?” Zayn asked. “I’ve just had too much for one day with this stressful arguing.” I said. “What are you arguing about?” He asked. “She told me she couldn’t move in with me because her parents didn’t want to. So I made an effort and called her parents. They said they didn’t mind and they were the ones who insisted for her to move in with me. Apparently she doesn’t want to move in with me and she had to lie about it. She won’t tell me why she won’t so I got frustrated and left.” I said. “It’s okay Niall I bet she has her reasons. Get some rest mate.” He said. I went in his guest room and went on the bed. I checked my phone and there were so many text messages from Paige.

From Paige: Niall, please come home.

From Paige: Niall, please come home.

From Paige: Niall, I need you here.

From Paige: We need to talk Niall.

From Paige: Please come home. I am going to tell you the reason.

I turned off my phone and ignored her. I fell asleep.

I woke up to Zayn nudging me. “Wake up Niall.” Zayn said. “Why? It’s too early.” I said. “Niall, Paige is downstairs and she wants you to come home.” He said. I went downstairs quickly. Even though I was still mad I wanted to see her. I wanted to hug her. I hated arguing with her. I finally got downstairs and I saw her. I ran to her and hugged her. “Let’s go home baby.” I said. We went to my flat and when we got inside Paige was so quiet and deep in thought. “Paige what is wrong?” I asked. “Niall, will you always be by my side no matter what?” She asked. “I love you Paige I will be here no matter what.” I said. “Niall, I’m pregnant.” She said.
