"Morning." Brandon whispered with a smile as my eyes blinked open.
I smiled then drew my lips to his.
He smiled back then we withdrew and our foreheads just rested against each other.
I looked into his shaded eyes and then a feeling speared and I no longer felt relieved and happy.
"You ok?" Brandon asked confused.
"We have to go home today." I explained sadly. "We've already overstayed."
Brandon blinked.
"We don't have to go today." He smiled.
I looked back up to him.
"What do you mean?" I laughed
"I mean we don't go back." He smirked then pressed his lips to mine.
I placed my hands up to his cheek and ran my thumb down his cheek bone b
"What do you mean we don't go back? I've already ran away once. I can't run again." I laughed a little thinking about how silly the idea was, even though running away with him wouldn't be the worst of notions.
"Yeah I know." He replied.
I rolled over onto my back and stared up at the ceiling.
I laid there for a few seconds listening to my breathing as well as Brandon's close to my ear.
"Well if we're gonna go." Brandon said as he sat up and looked down on me.
His dark messy hair over his face. "We should probably go then." He smiled.
I smiled by how cute he looked with his messy hair and his shirt still sandy and smelling of salt.
"Yeah." I said as I sat up and sat next to him in the back of his car.
We both sat there staring forward to the beach.
Brandon turned his head and pushed it against mine kissing me on the cheek.
Electricity shot through me as his soft lips met with my cheek.
I smiled softly then closed my eyes.
I didn't want to leave Mexico. Well, I really didn't want to leave Brandon. That Brandon. The one I could kiss and smile with, the one I felt alive with. The one I loved.
The Brandon back at home, in San Diego. The one who I couldn't feel anything with, where I pushed back emotions and temptations. The Brandon who was my brother.
I turned my head and then he moved his lips from my cheek to my forehead.
"We should go." I smiled as I closed my eyes.
"Yeah." He said pulling back and looking at me again.
I leant forward and climbed into the front seat on the passenger side.
Brandon came shortly after and slid his way into the drivers seat.
Brandon's face turned confused as he started the engine.
"What's wrong?" I asked looking at his confused look.
"Uh," he began looking down at the floor of the car. "Do you have the map?"
I tensed up in my seat.
"No." I said back seriously. "Where is it?"
"I, I don't have it." Brandon said angrily.
I fell deep into my seat in frustration.
"So what the hell do we do now? I mean where the hell are we anyway?" I asked annoyed.
"I don't know, Callie. I'm not the one who wanted to go hang gliding." He replied back angrily.
"So now it's my fault?" I laughed madly.
"No, I'm just...."
I raised my hand up to my head and ran it through my hair nervously.
"I mean can't we just google where we are? or like GPS or whatever?." I suggested.
Brandon pulled out his phone and looked down on it. His face dropped.
"Phones dead." He sighed. "What about you?"
I searched for my phone and found it sitting on the dashboard. I picked it up and turned it on.
"Thirty two percent and no signal." I said throwing it back on the dashboard.
"We're screwed." I said back in frustration.
"It's gonna be ok." Brandon said trying to calm me down. "We'll just drive and everything will be alright, ok?"
I swallowed "yeah."

We drove in the car for a couple of hours. The road was mostly dirt for half the trip but it changed into actual road gradually. We saw a car drive the other way so we decided to keep driving to see where we would end up.
"Im not blaming you for this, callie." Brandon said as he drove.
I looked over at him. "I know."
"And that hang gliding was actually pretty freakin cool." He laughed.
"Yeah, it was." I smiled back.
"We just gotta get somewhere...civilised."
"Once we do we'll be ok." I replied.
We drove for about two hours when a town suddenly appeared.
"Is that a..." Brandon asked as he leant forward and squinted trying to focus his eyes on the upcoming objects.
"It's a town." I smiled feeling relief shoot through my body.
Brandon laughed with relief. "Thank god."
We drove into the town, which was bigger than we expected and drove though the civilised streets.
We found a Resturant so we decided to stop in. I checked my phone again and I finally had signal.
The restaurant was small and empty. There were a few tables and chairs with white table cloths and a bar which lined down the side of it.
There was something we needed to do.
I turned on my phone and found out I had nine miss calls from Stef, four from Mariana and five from Lena.
I flipped the screen around and showed Brandon with wide eyes.
"We're screwed. We all seriously dead."
"Uhhh, that's not good." Brandon said as he combed his fingers through his hair.
"Yeah I'm not calling them." I said nervously.
"Why not?" Brandon replied looking down on me with his hands on his waist.
"Because...why can't you do it?"
"Because it's your phone."
"Ok fine." I replied back looking down at my phone again. "But if I die because I have three thousand missed calls."
"Fine."
I breathed in and out heavily and dialled stef.
There were a few rings and then she answered.
"Oh my god, callie." She said with her voice sounding of relief. "Where have you been? We've been looking for you for ages? Are you ok? Are you still in Mexico?"
"Yeah yeah I'm good." I said back scratching my head.
"Where are you? You said you were only going for a couple of days?" She asked worriedly.
I swallowed then looked up at Brandon who was sucking on his lip.
"Yeah." I said slowly.
"Callie what is going on?" She asked worriedly.
"We got lost?"
"Don't you have a map?"
"Yeah but...I'll talk to you later. I'm really sorry. But we're ok and we'll be back home soon, ok?"
She sighed. "Ok. But if you are not back by tomorrow then...just come back ok"
"Yes. Ok. Bye."
I hung up the phone with 25% left over. I knew it wouldn't last us till we got home but it was all we had.
"So what did she say?" Brandon asked.
"That if we're not back by tomorrow we are practically dead." I laughed in annoyance.
"Tomorrow?" Brandon said confused.
I looked back at him. "Yeah?"
A small smile spread across his face.
"So we have one more day?"
I smiled back up at him.
I got so lost in those eyes. It was amazing how I ever got out of them. Once you were stuck in the eyes of Brandon Foster you couldn't escape.
"Hola." Said an old women who walked past us carrying a flower pot.
"Uh, hola." Brandon said back with a goofy grin looking away and at this lady who just strangely appeared.
She walked over behind the bar and placed the flowers down.
"You want drink?" She asked.
"Uh, yeah sure." Brandon asked as he made his way over to the bar.
"What do you have?" He asked as I walked over and sat on the bar stool next to him.
"Beer, whiskey. All sorts." She said counting off her wrinkled fingers.
"Yeah, we're actually-" Brandon started.
"Just two beers, thank you." I interrupted calmly.
"Ok." She said nodding her head.
Brandon looked over at me and grinned shaking his head.
I raised my eyebrows back at him as the women placed to beers on the counter.
"Gracious." Brandon said with a nod as he grabbed his beer and I grabbed mine.
"Where you from?" She asked with a happy smile.
"Uh, San Diego." I said back as Brandon had a mouthful of beer.
"Ahh, lovely, lovely." She giggled. "You look like tourists. Very dirty." She laughed again.
I looked across to Brandon smiling as a Mexican women insults us. He shook his head in a laugh.
"We have no other clothes." Brandon explained as he placed his beer down.
"I see. My son have some clothes. You can have. You come to my bar this early you my friends." She laughed throwing her hands in the air by her sides. "And my grand daughter clothes for you."
"Thank you." I replied with a smile.
"Hola, mama." Said a unfamiliar voice.
A younger man. Around twenty five walked out holding a box. She planted a kiss on his cheeks then he saw us.
"Hey." He said. His voice going from Spanish to perfect English instantly.
"I'm Pablo." He said with a toothy smile.
"My friends here come from San Diego." The old women said.
"Nice. It's nice up there."
"Oh, you've been?" Brandon asked.
"Yeah, I went there with a buddy of mine." He replied as he placed the box down and walked over to us.
"So how long are you here for?" He asked.
"Just till tomorrow." Brandon replied as I sipped at my beer.
"Ah, well you must come back hear tonight. It may be dead now but tonight..." He put his hand next to his head and made it so it was 'blowing his mind.
"We have music and dance. Lots of people come. It's very good. "
Brandon looked across to me. I smiled.
It seemed fun. And we had till tomorrow anyway.
"Yeah. We'll be here." Brandon replied.
Pablo nodded their went back to his business.
