It's been a year and a half already, Lucas, Carlie, Cali and I moved to Atlanta a couple months after I had Cali. Everything been going good lately it's just one thing, Lucas been acting real strange lately like he haven't been the same since we moved here. I'm in the kitchen fixing the kids something to eat and Lucas walked in, "Hey bae" he say "Hi" I say giving a attitude "What's wrong with you?" "You" "Me?" "Yeah you're what's wrong with me, every night you go out and leave me and the kids here by ourselves ever since we moved here and you got a record deal I feel as if you just kicked us to the curb" he walked over to me and put his arms around my waist "Babe I'm sorry if I got you feeling like this, it's just I be working hard in the studio, I'm sorry" I wanted to believe him but I just can't something Is telling me that's he's not telling the truth but I might be wrong who knows..
After the kids finish eating, I called Lay to get advice from her, she always know what to say. She picked up on the 3rd ring, "Hey girl" I say "Hey, I miss you wassup" I say "I need to talk to you about Lucas" "Oh lord what he do?" "Idk he just been acting weird lately, he's not the same guy I fell in love with, he says he be at the studio but idk" "You don't think he's cheating do you?" "Idk Lay, I don't want to but I kinda do" "I don't think Lucas would do that to you, y'all been together since high school and y'all been through a lot and ion think he would do something like that, you got a good one Yn so don't be assuming" "You right, thanks Lay you always know what to say, I love you" "Anytime, you know you call call me whenever and I love you too" "Alright ttyl I Lo waiting on me upstairs" "Y'all nasty" we both laughed and then said our goodbyes.
"Mommy" Cali say "Yes hunny" "Can we go shopping" I chuckled "You know what yes we can, go get y'all shoes" "Otay". They both brung me their shoes and I put them on and tied them. I then put on my shoes, "Alright I'll be back I'm bout see if daddy wants to go" I say, I walked upstairs and to Lucas bedroom to find him sleep "Guess not" I say to myself I walked back downstairs and got my keys then we walked my Black Matte Range Rover. I strapped Carlie and Cali in their booster seats and then I got in the car and drove off, "Mommy turn dis up" Cali say referring to the music on the radio. I chuckled "Okay" I turned it up and they both started singing which was so cute.
We arrived to the mall and I got them out the car and we headed inside. When we got inside the first store we went too was build a bear workshop of course, then we went to justice, footlocker, Disney store, H&M, forever21, Aeropostale, and many more. We then ate at the food court and had ice cream, minutes later they looked tired so we headed home when we got home the house was really quiet and I realized that Lucas wasn't here. Where the fuck he at, and I know his excuse is I had to go by the studio real quick so I didn't even bother to call him cause I don't wanna hear that lame ass excuse.
Hour later...
The girls and I were sitting on the couch watching frozen then suddenly the door bell ring, I wonder who this is. I got up and walked to the door and opened it and there stood a girl with long black hair and olive skin I had to admit she was pretty but who is she? "Um hi, sorry to bother you but is Lucas here?" She asked "Ummm no, how you know Lucas?" I asked "Oh he's a friend of mines" for some reason I didn't believe her but I didn't feel like arguing. "Oh okay, well I'll tell him you stop by" "Thanks". I shut the door and walked back to the living room and sat down, "Who was that mommy" Carlie asked "Idk baby" I say, all I wanted to know who was that girl cause I know they ain't "just friends"...
